Hello.

Sometimes i don't write anything here for a while, and then some people might worry a bit. And i don't want that to happen.

I'm fine. Or at least things are tolerable without much effort.

I have cut back drinking beer. I have drank some, but not binge style. It is just a stupid idea to drink too much right now. It feels like a stupid idea because of combination of gut feeling and wanting to think stuff without being drunk.

Best regards
A friend of all of you
Fin

I'm still working although nobody but essential employees are supposed to be the only ones to go to work. The boss wanted us to break the law so we could finish out the work week. His assistant told us to lie to the cops if we get pulled over. Mind you, this is a Catholic school and we were told to lie. After today though I'm off. They'll be happy.

Good to see you Wis my Shed Sister!

Love the pics! Got up late and still very tired. Still on my first cup of coffee so I'm not exactly functioning yet.

There you are! I'm one of the people who worries, so it's good to see you here today Fin.

I have to check and see if we have new rules for Rhode Island. Things change daily.

I keep trying to steal your beer so you won't drink it, but you keep finding it. I'll have to put a lock on the wine/booze cellar and You'll need the dragon key to unlock the door.

Glad you'll be out tomorrow.

I don't know if I want more coffee and to eat something or just go back to bed. I guess I'll stay up.

No worries, i have very high-ranking friends in the dragon management department.

But if you use elven magic on the door, well, i guess then i will just have to settle for coffee and water

BTW, I have a couple of PM's for you, Night, for when you are rested and ready to tackle the world again.

My grocery store is doing something like this at key areas in the store.

The only problem is that most people find it difficult to step from one circle to the next as far as they are spaced out.

I sat in the parking lot for about 30 minutes before shopping as I was waiting on the call from the useless neurologist. The store only had one entrance opened with a line of people all across the front of the store waiting to go in. I was wondering (and still do) why so many people just had to go to the store right then.

The line was moving quickly for the most part. I finally deducted that the reason there was a line is that security was limiting the number of people in the store at one time. To avoid the line and take care of plan A first (going to the pharmacy part of the store) I just used the drive through. I was only given 2 of expected 3 refills but I know that my doctor's screwed up office had something to do with that. This is something that I'll take care of later maybe.

Once that was completed I went in search of a good parking spot and noticed there was no longer a line of people waiting to go in. I found the spot to park in and approached the store entrance. For some reason the security guard laughed at me when I told her I was read for my body search.

The store had about 99% of the usual things they have there from what I saw with my limited shopping trip. I didn't check out the frozen food section or the toilet paper aisles so who knows what was left there. My main concerned was canned food (meats) and soup. This was the golden aisle. Meaning the one with just about everything gone. I've yet to find instructions on the Covid 19 virus that says that eating a ton of canned chili and soup will cure it.

To the idiots buying too much of the same thing, there is no need to do so. The grocery store and the food will still be there tomorrow, next week, and next year.

Everyone was pretty nice for the most part in the store. Perhaps the employees were happier since they all are getting paid $2.00/hour more during the virus.

In other news, my mom is going to to her doctor in the morning as she her legs are swelling up more than what could be consider safe. I'm interested in her report from the doctor's office especially to find out if they are all wearing space suits or what.

We have way more than just coffee and water. We have exotic fruit drinks, various kinds of teas, chocolate milk, strawberry milk, almond milk etc. I'm having the pixies work on a concoction of chocolate and peanut butter ice cream milk.

That's terrible. What I do is take 2 to 3 steps between the markers. In the shops where I am they have lines or x's where you move to after someone else is served. If they expect you to take one step from circle to circle in your pic I'd be telling them where to go. Older people aren't athletes.

My goodness LookingForABetterLife, I'd be complaining..

Look after yourself,

Bally

Do you have to step from circle to circle or are the circles more to show you how far from fellow shoppers you should be in order to prevent airborne spread of the virus? Seeing the pic, it looks to me like the second one.

Well it's my first full day of paid vacation. I kicked it off in grand style by playing a game last night. I have a series of games tomorrow (including one that I'm running) because a group I'm in is having a virtual convention

Eat some coffee. You'll stay up.

I have seen blue tape then a space and blue tape again and a space...We're supposed to be in between the blue tape lines. That is our safe distance. I think that is the case with the circles too.

How is your Country doing Bally?

Glad you are having fun with your time off. Many people are bored, but I rarely ever get bored.

Going out later today with my friend to get a few things ahead at the grocery store. They are supposed to only allow a certain number of people in at a time. Should be interesting. One week I couldn't go because Mark was in the hospital and since we weren't allowed to visit the hospital, I sat by the phone waiting to hear how he was doing. I wonder when they will have toilet paper? Good thing I always planned ahead in case of snow storms or my not being able to get out because Mark was in a hospital. But that toilet paper won't last forever.

I doubt I'll be bored. I have plenty of games. If it gets warm I'll go to the garage and straighten things up.

I haven't been to the store since paid vacation started Wednesday. I don't know what they're like here.

Best to go as soon as you can. At first it was insane trying to get through stores, now there are less people and social distancing that people are being great about.

At airports and bus and train stations we will have the National Guard. Anyone from New York must self quarantine for 14 days. Police will be checking license plates of people driving from there to here and will also be ordered to self quarantine. I feel it's only matter of time before Linda being from Massachusetts will not be able to come here. I dunno. At least my State is trying to stay on top of things.
