I'm amazed how many US people would call the cops! They call us oppressed lol, but if that happened here the guy would be a laughing stock for making a complaint.
Imagine the story at the pub, healthy grown adult male phones cops after a wee bairn punches him in the face but no injuries, no way would that happen here!
Most likely would happen in my corner of Britain is the guy would look for any father figure of the girl on the scene and give him a spank or two.
Again...nobody would call the cops, such different cultures 😂😂😂

No, not nearly enough. She needs something substantial. A public apology to the man she assaulted, and how about 120 hours of community service at the discretion of the man she assaulted. He could have her mow his lawn, wash his cars, paint his house... whatever he likes. Or he could commute her 'sentence', if he felt she had actually learned a lesson (highly unlikely, but possible).

I am 100% in favor of bringing back the public stocks as a form of punishment. Public shaming, for certain offenses, is a very effective tool.
