I'm sure the guy was able to shake off the strike from a 90ish pound hormonal and misguided girl.

really?
this is florida
I pictured a 6'2" transitioning former male linebacker/wrestler/power forward who just won a florida high school state championship in power-lifting
how dare you pidgeonhole some one as 90ish lbs in this day and age..........for shame

Guys, it's just a 14 year old girl, the "strike" would hardly be felt.

You sure about that?
I'd be scared.

This sounds sounds like another set-up. Can you imagine the faked outrage from the video if it showed a man dressed as Donald Trump punching/shoving an INNOCENT YOUNG child, even if she initiated the confrontation? He would be crucified by the media and the left.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say an adult beating up a kid over politics is a lot different than a 14 year old girl punching an adult in a prank.

I agree there. 14 years old it would be an official caution at worst, boy or girl. For everything folk say about the UK justice system, certainly in my police region they do everything they can to avoid kids getting a criminal record.
"Supported cautions or reparations" not sure the correct term, are often used, pay for damage and say sorry etc, but for first offence with no broken nose or anything it's likely she would just get an unofficial scolding from cops, maybe held in a police cell for a couple of hours to make them think.

'Battery' lmao, a lame punch off a 14 year old girl, it would be called common assault here, and there aren't enough cops in the country to arrest every incident of that in the UK.
Who even phones the cops if a 14 year old girl punches them??? 😂😂😂

I got nothing for that. It's 2019, and I just acted like a fool with my assumptions.

Imagine if it was a 14 year old in a Trump mask who punched a grown man in a hillary mask. We'd know the kid's name, birthday, address, etc... I'm beyond sick of today's media and double standards. This is axactly how the democrats acted in the early 60's, too, when people didn't follow them lockstep.

The precious sorts or halfwits with other political agenda i imagine.

Kept in for a week, and nae telly, phone, tinternet or access to the fridge, hopefully, that's the problem alleviated and addressed, would be my thinking. LoL

She might actually be guilty of a felony on what otherwise been a simple assault and battery due to the political aspects. Or if the victim was 65+ or had other qualifying conditions. The video will I assume have sound which runs afoul Florida being a Two Party consent state.

Lots of factors to consider than to just dismiss it out of hand as kids will be kids.

Pshyeah right... He parents would probably file a lawsuit with the law for daring to make their little princess do community service for hitting someone that might have a different opinion. Parents are usually more of a problem than their kids these days.

If the 'victim' was disabled, LGBT, elderly, or otherwise vulnerable then it would be all over the news, but it isn't.
Honestly, the 'victim' would be shamed by every other bloke in town if he phoned the cops and was prepared to whine in court for the prosecution.
Maybe just a cultural thing but honestly, he'd wanna leave town if it was here, be a #ing laughing stock!
😂😂😂

Think what would have happened should the fellow in the silly mask have returned the favor?

I'm no Trump fan as you all ken perfectly well.

But imagine if a video of a full-grown Man in a Trump mask punching a 14-year-old wee lassie were ever to emerge?

Like i said this is political pantomime, and possibly orchestrated to achieve a desired result.

Or just a daft wee lassie being a bam, who the hell even knows any longer??? LoL

Yep, nobody would give a toss here. He'd be a laughing stock of town. Even the cops wouldn't want to arrest the girl, they'd just take her to her parents, and scold her.
Cultural differences, and you may well hold the moral high ground, but most Brits would piss laughing about it, and the guy definitely would be victim shamed in any local pub lol.
No way would a healthy adult male call cops over a punch from a 14 year old girl.

Only in America eh 😂😂😂

I’ve had a 16 year old girl crack one of my ribs on accident when I was 16. Anyone can get in a lucky shot and hurt you, even a four year old.

"Everybody"??? Not even close.

I certainly can't speak for everyone, but I don't think this is about the child's sex... I would view a 14-year-old boy who did this in the same light as this 14-year-old girl; specifically, in terms of age and maturity, the level of threat of physical harm and therefore the seriousness of the battery/assault, and therefore the appropriate charges, and sentencing (if it even comes to that).

I'm not sure why anyone would look at it any other way. I certainly haven't seen anyone say, "Well, it's okay because it's a girl, but it would be bad if it were a boy."

ETA: I stand corrected. My apologies. My bad. Reading the responses between when I hit "reply" and I hit "send," someone has gone there. Silly me. I should have known... hanging my head in embarrassment now (but not for myself!).
