Well, North Korea is not democratic, even though they claim to be. Socialism has a specific definition, and it refers specifically to workers themselves owning or controlling the means of production. So if that’s not happening, no matter what they call themselves, they are not socialist. So, no, Germany was not socialist, Russia is not socialist, China is not socialist, and sanders is not socialist. Nor is aoc.

I've read a lot of your posts and I think I can conclude you like to use words.

Of course I believe in socialism. I believe government has a role in addressing inequalities in society. Now should we have a public policy with discrimination of "lgtbq" people is question of debate. Should we pass a bill where we have socialism for fixing our public roads and bridges I would say yes. Should we also have a system in place for identifying and addressing corruption in any part of government spending I would say yes.

Should we do absolutely nothing because corruption exists in government and let the billionaires get away with literally murder I would say no.

Successful at what? If you want to define China or Russia as socialist....well the ussr when it arguably was moving towards socialism, managed to have a revolution, fight off an invasion by the us, Britain and France, then survive 2 world wars, and then industrialize faster than any nation prior, AND then become the second world power, and hold off the us for years, all with a much smaller economy, population, military etc.

As for China, they have grown and industrialized faster in the last 20 years than any other nation in history, with the middle class exploding faster than any other middle class growth recorded as well.

Not to say that those groups are socialist, but they fill the role in most arguments.

Because the fact of the matter is that capitalists are the oligarchs holding on to power, and they brutally attack any nation which actually tries real socialism. So socialism and capitalism have never been able to compete on equal grounds. I expect if socialism ever does gain equal power to capitalism, it will rapidly eclipse it in such a way it becomes the dominant paradigm for the future. Assuming capitalism doesn’t kill us all with nuclear war or ecocide first.

Any idiot that claims they have new knowledge on nazis actually being socialist can update this.

Believing government has a role or not is a completely different topic than Democrats not being responsive in representing the people's needs. I have said many times the problems with our country are not rocket science. The lobbyists are forcing politicians to pass laws creating cartels and monopolies in exchange for campaign financing.

Unlike many Trump cultists I have said many times Republicans are just as bad as Democrats and vise versa. I have said many times if a Democrat breaks the law he should be put in jail. I never put party before country.

My problem with Democrats is most of the Democrats from red starts are Nixon Republicans by my standards. A Democrat from Texas is further to the right than a Republican from New Jersey.

So answer me this, if tax cuts for the billionaires is so great, if deregulation of consumer protections is so great, if trickle-down economics is so great, THEN HOW COME WE ARE HEADING FOR A RECESSION!!!

Please tell me exactly what bill was pass or what Democrats did since Trump passed his rich-person tax cut that has now responsible for the recession? I thought the economy was doing great.

You lost me on the first two sentences. After three years of being called a racist, nazi, bigot, whatever-phobe, hater, warmonger, deplorable just because I am conservative you lost that argument before you ever started. Then a few lines later you refer to conservatives as "Trump cultists". Hypocrite.

I want closed borders with sensible immigration policy, I want the attacks on our Constitution to end, I want career politicians(criminals) to be held accountable for their crimes, I want an end to sanctuary cities, I want an end to all this nonsense about socialism being the answer, and I want democrats to do something with their time other than try to disrupt and ultimately remove a sitting POTUS just because they are sore losers.

The Republicans are only successful because they look sane compared to the Democratic Party Platform.
