Going to have to do a small reality check here.. (Johnny quietly puts on the Mod hat for a very short while)
We need to cease with what (some) might construe as an attack against an ATS member and get back on topic.. and just for the record, I'm a huge
skeptic and I try to treat everyone the same, believer's, debunkers, skeptic's, doesn't matter to me, but rather what they say and how they back up
their thoughts. We are all entitled to that freedom (and belief system) at ATS as long as it is within the Terms and Conditions of this fine
website.
Were all guilty of it (including me), of getting our feelings all bunched up because someone said 'this or that'. It's at times like that, that I need
to take a step back and do a cool down before posting again. We all need to keep in mind this is the internet where people tend to forget that there
are real people on the other side of the screen. We need to stay focused on the topic & claims, and not the person making those topics and claims.
** Mod Hat Off back to weirdness**
We started to go down the rabbithole earlier on the Paranormal and our Bipedal topic. As I've said before, I'm in a quandary when we go down this path
because of what appears that the rulebook for physics and reality sometimes don't mesh (or play well with each other at least in my current mindset).
There have been several similarly bizarre and inexplicable cases of Sasquatch simply vanishing in full view listed in a paper called "Vanishing
Bigfoot and Anecdotal Accounts: Implications and Challenges for Researchers", by Sharon Cornet (
if your
interested in this stuff you can read more here).
In an interview I had with Dr. Michio Kaktu, he suggested that it's quite possible that a creature (like a Sasquatch) cold be standing right next to
us and we'd never know it because they are vibrating at a different frequency. So the 'illusion (to us mere mortals) are that something/someone simply
vanishes or disappears in front of our eyes.
I try and remember his words when I come across reports of Hunters shooting Bigfoot, but then there is no trace of a Bigfoot or blood regardless of
the killshot. This is generally about the time when the enigmatic question of flesh and blood or other comes to mind. It's also when I remember some
projects where changing frequencies allowed one to move their hands through solid objects.
As befuddled as I get when reading these reports/claims, I attempt to stay neutral as possible because I'm sure what some would say is a hoax, magic
or "woo-woo" might just be a form of science that we've just not completely gotten figured out. Below is a brief example of one of these types of
reports ...
This is an account about an encounter with a Bigfoot by a group of hikers. The group was returning from a hike when a (supposed) large 9ft tall
Sasquatch stepped out in front of them looking at them for a moment before vanishing. The hiker's insist that it "vanished” before their eyes. One
witness was (reportedly) so taken back by the experience that she did not leave her house for a week afterwards and refused to go back to that
area.
I can relate to the refusing to go back to an area where weirdness has occurred. The area I was mining on the Klamath River where we had large
footprints appear to be walking next to my Mining partner and I on the sand bar scared the crap out of me. They were not there one second, and next
second, there's these prints next to us. They appeared from nowhere and they disappeared long before getting to the river or brush (by maybe 30 feet
distance). These prints were within 3 feet or so to us and inline of our walking prints, like it was stalking us.
This was approximately 18 miles from the the rural township of Happy Camp, which I've mentioned before of having a few weird experiences with what I
believe to be a large bipedal.
So what's your thoughts on this vibrating frequencies theory of Dr. Kaku?
