I'm assuming I have a good idea of which poster lead to this idea. I'm not for mob rule but maybe a time limit between topics would work. For instance, a member can start two topics and then a 3 hour timer starts before they can start 2 new topics again?

I agree when a single member makes multiple topics all relating to the same topic..lol. We're on the same page there.

I believe there is already a solid time limit between one thread and a second one. I remember the hectic session in the Theology forum a couple of years back, which probably inspired it (somebody tried to post a thread series in one night, starting with the "Index" thread).

I understand the desire to weed out the trolls, but, if we want a fair forum, they must be tolerated to some end I'd believe.

We had that site once, determined it was beneath us so we merged the two sites into a single ATS.
