Not sure why people think Trump's "bury our head in the sand" strategy is a sound one. Withdrawing everywhere? Basically saying FU to all other countries, including allies, with the policy of "We'll only do something if it benefits us." It's all fun and games until all other countries do the same in return. We are not so all-powerful that we can simply dismiss the rest of the planet and live a sheltered hermit-life in the United States. Close all borders! Allow no one in! Remove all troops everywhere! Screw all treaties and pacts and allies if they don't directly benefit us!
That's a fools plan. And now apparently they are looking at removing the open skies treaty, which only benefits Russia.
Trump's brilliant plan seems to be two parts. 1. Have the United States withdraw into a turtle shell that ignores the rest of the world. And 2. Undo literally anything Obama enacted, whether it makes sense to do it or not.
Turkey gave us the heads up they were going to attack.
Would you have preferred that Trump left American troops there during an attack?
President Erdogan, he’s tough, but I get along with him. And maybe that’s a bad thing, but I think it’s a really good thing. Because, frankly, he wanted to wipe out — he has a big problem with the Kurds, as everyone knows. And he had a 65,000-man army at the border, and he was going to wipe out the Kurds, who helped us with ISIS. We took out the caliphate. We have 100 percent of the caliphate. And I called him and I asked him not to do it. They are, I guess, natural enemies of his or Turkey’s. And he hasn’t done it. They were lined up to go out and wipe out the people that we just defeated the ISIS caliphate with, and I said, “You can’t do that.”

So the only way they will ever have a realistic chance is to have a wealth patron to keep them supplied and shield them from the UN type intervention, or to have said wealthy patron conquer an area and give them their independence from Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey.

Who will stand beside and fight with the USA the next time we ask them to?
I hope nobody because the next time we fight it should be on our own turf. I only support war if they attack our homeland and if our homeland is attacked I don't want European and ME allies flying in my skies and dropping bombs.

Of all the reasons to go after Trump of course its potentially removing Americas global policing effort that they are disappointed with.

The same day US troops are 'accidentally' bombed by Turkey, Trump says he's sending 1,800 troops to the UAE.
Funny how money will affect the presidents decisions.
Your comment lacks clarity - meaning,m I have no clue what you mean.
RIYADH (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia’s king and crown prince have approved the deployment of additional U.S. troops and equipment, after an attack last month on the kingdom’s oil facilities, state news agency SPA reported on Saturday.
The United States announced a deployment of about 3,000 troops to the Gulf state, including fighter squadrons, an air expeditionary wing and air defense personnel, amid heightened tensions with Saudi’s arch-rival Iran.
The deployments mean the Pentagon has increased the number of forces in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility by approximately 14,000 since May. That comes as the department has emphasized the need to adhere to the National Defense Strategy, a document that explicitly calls for drawing down in the CENTCOM region in order to refocus resources towards China and Russia.
