They stopped making tapes back in the late seventies. Not too long after Watergate.
That was when they instituted or I guess re-instituted the practice of having stenographers take notes of the conversation.

His minority house lackeys tried to make it sound like that.

The more serious minded GOP led senate seem to be taking a different approach and are treating this as a very serious issue.

Most companies named "Nixon" took a hit after he resigned, even if they were not associated with the president. What would happen to all the buildings with Trump's name on them if he were to resign or get impeached?

Thought there was a quota on imbecilic questions for one day.

It's almost like you are selling something lol.

Trump's not gonna get impeached and he's damn sure not going to resign over this nothing burger, LOL again if this is the new standard for impeachment, get ready for an impeachment proceeding every 2-3 years no matter who the president is.

Thanks for a thoughtful response.

But isn't it true that Trump could put his private business in danger if they have an impeachment? Wouldn't he want to protect that, and maybe just resign rather than have all his dealings exposed?

Apparently trumps brand isn't what it used to be....

The very day Nancy Pelosi said that she was backing impeachment of President Trump, 5 million dollars worth of small donations from all 50 states flooded into his campaign coffer.

The senate had a private meeting/ hearing with Mcguire this afternoon and they came out saying its very concerning and they will need to investigate this further. Thats the GOP senate.

These may be a lot to be worried about here.

They will investigate the credibility of the "Complaint" 😃

To be sure, it hasn’t been all bad news. Trump’s businesses still hauled in at least $453 million in revenue last year, according to the president’s financial disclosure. His Washington hotel, which took in $40 million of that, is doing a brisk business with Republican Party officials, lobbyists and business groups that can lose or win big on changes in regulations and laws. Foreign diplomats and dignitaries and groups with ties to the governments of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and other countries have held events or stayed at the hotel, too. Referring to his decision to throw a party there in June, the Philippine ambassador wrote in a newspaper op-ed, “Since several other embassies have also held their national day celebrations at the Trump hotel which were well attended — I decided — why not do it there, too.” The Trump Organization has promised to donate any profits tied to foreign governments to the U.S. Treasury to allay conflict-of-interest concerns, and made a payment of $151,470 to the agency earlier this year to cover 2017. The company has declined to provide details on how the figure was calculated.
i dunno about you but making almost half a billion dollars would be pretty nice as far as yearly income goes

Just revealed... trump whitehouse engaged in a coverup by trying to hide this phone call in a server meant for sensitive classified information from the IC. This phone call was neither as is evident by the limited transcripts we were shown.
( If this is the part that exonerates him I hate to see the full transcripts.)

This alone is impeachable. And the senate is not jumping hurdles to get behind him like his usual suspects in the house this morning.

I missed Jim Jordan somehow. He must have been on while I was out around noon. I will look for a YouTube vid of it later on tonight.

Weakass disparagement humor appealing to extremes.
That tells me you are at a loss as to how to handle this information.

This is much more serious than this crowd is treating it.

I think its whistling past the graveyard.

As you have a history of being on the wrong side of events your opinion is suspect at best.
As for the humor, take it up with adam schiff, if he wont take this seriously why should I?
The pres of Ukraine has put tis to bed.
The whistleblower offers only unverified 3rd hand rumors.
Its crap.
Crap that pelosi is advancing impeachment on.

The dems are a joke.

and how was he implicated?
because the potus asked for him to be contacted?
what crime exactly is that?
imo that is the AG's job isnt it?

For real I can't tell if your being obtuse to mess with him or if you really don't understand the connection being referenced. The act of Trump coercing Ukraine into doing Trump's political dirty work is very likely going to be on the wrong side of legality, though its still to be decided. The fact that Barr was named means that he will have to be looked into. Are you suggesting he's more than capable of impartially looking into himself and reporting if he's done anything illegal for which he should be punished?

None of what you posted is true.
I am only going to tell you 7 times this is false.
The pres of Ukraine says so.
The unverified 3rd hand rumors are simply bs.
Good luck with that.

This will end the dems.
Enjoy.

The information will never be considered by any court so hearsay doesnt matter a tinkle.
Try something relevant to this. The information was deemed credible. The DNI said they followed every law to the letter in getting this report filed.

Why is trump fishing for the identity of the person who gave this whistleblower the information?

So like, a private email server?

Ummm no not like that at all.

This is a fully vetted secured system created by the United States government in conjunction with the intelligence community and the national security agency to hold top secret classified information from being detected and revealed to people who should not know about it for national security reasons.

He decided to hide his criminal activity there.

I'm not seeing any similarity at all to Hillary's server for her personal e mails. And in all honesty I'm having trouble seeing how you do.

What kind of blood tests would they have to pass to be deemed credible to you since they have said some very troubling things about trump?

Having documented evidence to support their claimed would be top of my list. I know that doesn't matter to many people....but when the stakes are so high, hearsay and baseless accusations should be backed up by hard documented evidence, not "feelz".

What's funny is you acknowledged his server is sanctioned by the government.

BTW, her emails weren't just personal... Though that was her justification for holding back 40,000 emails and then wiping hard drives.

Here's the thing though. If Trump really did something wrong, I don't care if he goes down for it. Especially considering Hillary and Biden both did things similar to what's being discussed now.
