Two mass shootings in Texas, one of the most “pro-gun” states in the US, within a month.
Beyond the shear insanity of the incident, something smells “off” about this.
Or maybe my tinfoil is too tight!
Awakened Minds and the cliched "something smells off about this" ..
What is it this time that smells off?
It didn't happen, no one died, the police haven't given all the facts yet, the videos don't match up to what Awakened Minds think mass shooting events should look like . Please help me understand what smells off.

That two mass shootings would occur in so short a period in a state with a very strong support of the 2nd amendment.
It’s almost as if someone, or something, is trying to “send a message”:
Continue to resist gun control reforms, and you will “pay the price”.
Personally, I favor reforms.
But NOT if this is how they are to be “induced”;
Or should I say, Coerced?

Haven't we seen a number of science fiction books and movies where pursuits like this were watched on TV with all the mind washed masses following every move, every death, everything happening with great relish? Seems I recall this scenario from Fahrenheit 451 where the citizens were prompted by the TV to look out their windows when the perps were spotted in their vacinity and help the police to find them?

Yeah this is weird. At what point did this guy just say oh # it, lets suicide by cop.
From a traffice stop. It couldnt have been that he planned this. It just seems so random.
So wtf happened when the cop pulled him over.
He stopped. He didnt initially run.

Before that vehicle came to a complete stop, the driver and only occupant pointed a rifle toward his rear window and fired several shots toward the DPS patrol unit, wounding one of the troopers, Carter said.

Do we know the nature of the traffic stop?

They must be still working on the story they will tell about this one.
I would think some people would realize a friend or family member is missing or dead and would say something.
