I'm really glad you made a thread on this. I watched it and was going to but got side tracked. I also did a mini synopsis on the video which I will include here. It is NOT word for word quote.

Tucker Carlson on FOX News, and the topic was Campus Craziness. Bias Response Teams on campus. An online portal where you can report speech at Michigan University website that you may have overheard. If you don't like a word that was used in a conversation you overheard between others, you can go to the website and report the offense and offenders and they will be brought before a Bias Response Team which is made up of of administrators and campus police and they will have to explain themselves. If the offender rebuffs that effort, they will be subject to punishment which may include being sent to remediation which is called "Restorative Justice". This may be cultural appropriation training, diversity education, unconscious bias training etc. It may also include expulsion depending on how serious the transgression was.

No more free speech. It doesn't matter what or why you used offensive language. You could be discussing a television show, a discussion you heard from someone else, a story from the past, an event you witnessed etc.

There are an estimated 200 colleges that participate in this infringement of the 1st amendment.

But I wonder more, why are colleges teaching Socialism throughout all the academia? It has nothing to do with a business degree, an engineering degree etc. I think that's why I like trade schools and online classes as a better form of education. I do like the comment about reporting everything, pretty soon the skin will thicken and tolerance of the intolerant.....wait, or is it intolerance of the tolerant.....what the heck.

Want a glimpse into the future:

In order to be accepted into colleges or use the cashless monetary system, all voting age humans will now be fully monitored, on an individual basis, 24/7 - all stationary & mobile AI, equipped with the most advanced microphone and camera tech, will now catalogue all people who say certain trigger words (context be damned). These same AI are also weaponized for serious transgressions where rehabilitation is deemed, on the spot, a waste of resources - no more human soup for you.

Will these "Bias Response Teams" respond when a white person reports a black person for using the "N-word" which is a racially charged and offensive word, from what I am told.

Or, if a report of a black person referring to a white person as a "cracker"?

Or, if a LBGT+ person uses the term "fag hag" or "girl" or similar?

I seriously am concerned if these are state schools. In which case, they could be brought up on charges of 1st Amendment infractions. As a state entity, taking government funds, they MUST adhere to the entire Constitutional protections for ALL of their student and faculty.

I did trade school back in the day. Couldn’t afford college at the time.
Started my own business in 82 and never looked back. A good tradesman can always make a good living. If I had a degree, I probably would have made fewer mistakes in business. It’s really a toss up. It’s been a good life and the business raised my family out of poverty here in southern Appalachia.

Well... the racists and sexists had their way for a long time. Now the polar opposite is happening.

Not everyone was a racist and sexist back then, and not everyone is a liberal maniac in these colleges either.

At least the extreme liberals did some good before they got to this point. Awareness of sexism, hazing, racism, and LGBTQ acceptance.

Think about this in another way. I am really starting to think that the extreme left is again trying to control everyone's life. To be fair, the ones who arent supporting it already know such generalizations dont apply to them (us). Just as relevant, we know exactly the type of social group Break is talking about, right?

My only issue is the "low IQ" thing that gets thrown around so often. All of this would be so much less of an issue if it was just relegated to idiots.

Of course, when dealing with people in any numbers, most are going to be below average or average intelligence. But, it minimizes the true extent of the situation to think all of this craziness is relegated to "the dumb."

As for the "Bias Response Team..." Well, thats just SSDD. Sure, giving it an "official" name and coverage is kind of different.

But really, the court of public opinion was weaponized in its current form years ago. Commit wrongthink, and you may very well see everything from your bank account shut down to doxxing, vandalism, false accusations, or even assault.

The concept of institutionalizing it is obviously a bad idea, but the end result will be the same, I think.
