Trump is doing what should have been done a long time ago. Honestly, I don't think he is making big enough moves. Drop corporate tax rate for US companies that keep their manufacturing local to like 1%. Any company that wants to ship jobs overseas, screw 'em and they can pay the 30% or whatever and get ZERO US support legally or anything else.

At the same time, bust the unions so our American companies remain competitive.

It will be painful initially, but if the right moves are made, US corps will bring jobs back to the US. The American public needs to wake up. We don't need that cheap Chinese stuff.

Everyone huh? lol. You really need to research that. Even if what you said was true, which it isn't, Trump would be putting Country before Company. He must really love his country. Would you like to change your mind now?

Well, Trump can't order them from stopping trade with China, but he can say that these companies need to start looking for alternative replacements for what they purchase there.

I do not think his word order was appropriate, but it is Trump and he does say some stuff wrong on occasion...like twice a week in tweets. We need to start making products here in America again, that is the reason for the tariff, to make it easier for American Companies to be competative, so we can create more stable jobs for Americans. The stability of our economy is not very good because we have become a consumer based economy. We have to manufacture more of what we use. Not many countries allow what is happening in the USA to occur. Of course, the main European countries want to sell their products to America and other countries, and make sure they keep a good manufacturing base in their country so they can gain stability in their countries.. Some of those countries that are gullable are exporting their wealth to other European countries that are trying to control everything. Most European countries put tariffs on imports.
