If you don't understand where technology is today that is not the problem. The problem is your lack of concern for reality and learning what that is.

I get it it's easier to join a tribe or religion and let them do your thinking.

If you are worried about the morality of genetic engineering you should at least learn a little about what you are afraid and come up with an arguement from logic...that way people may actually consider you have an educated opinion.

I'm totally on board. Next time someone calls me a racist because they're losing an argument, I'll inform them that I identify as part black. And as we all know, black people can't be racist. If everyone went this route, racism would disappear overnight!

The media shows white people as racists against non-white people, over and over again, but never, ever shows a non-white person being a racist against white people. Nor show any non-white people who are racist against another non-white race, either.

My Chinese co-worker told me that he and his wife went to an Indian restaurant, and sat there for over half an hour, totally ignored, while other Indian patrons who arrived after them were immediately served. He walked out, soon afterwards.

Nothing. Because they only report incidents of whites being racist against non-whites.


As for saying you are not white, but rather, you are also part black heritage....that would not matter. You are white to the media, who shows you as white to the world. The media wouldn't report anything you say about being part black. They'd just smirk at you, say thanks for letting us know, we'll try and update the report, if possible....but they are full of s^#t, of course, and have no intention of updating their report.

It's a sad, sad world, when people who are white have to defend themselves being non-white, and you're example proves how our world has become so very warped, to even think of saying you're non-white, because you'd be approved as a 'non-racist'!!

I have no real issues with adults wanting to live their own lives and identify as something else as long as it isn't at the cost of someone else, or detrimental to others.

Loading our NHS with vanity procedures (and yes it does happen) means there may not be the money for essential services, so if you want to be something, pay for it.

I'm probably not a great boxer but if I decided to identify as a female and then boxed in their competitions I think I'd do very well.

I get that it's still a very sensitive issue but there are areas where common sense has to trump feelings. Screaming 'transphobic' at people only works for so long.
