They established a government, formed by a social contract, only to protect the rights that they already had in the state of nature. They had the right to break the contract if the government deprived them of the rights it was established to protect. Thus Locke's and Jefferson'sphilosophy permitted revolution.
Like Rousseau, Jefferson believed that men have the ability to reason and shape their society in a positive manner. He felt that menwould choose the right course from an innate... ... Further, Rousseau's Social Contractcontended that the government must remain a separate institution from a sovereign entity.

More than a smidge according to Dennis Hopper.
And I have showed several times that human animal hybrids are already being created...
And that adult mice have had sex changes from genetic engineering. In fact same sex mice couples have borne children including males.
And the only people laughing are the educated that you have no vocabulary for an arguement of persuasion to begin with.
"Scientists have long assumed that once the sex determination decision is made in the embryo, it's final," Zarkower said. "We have now discovered that when Dmrt1 is lost in mouse testes — even in adults — many male cells become female cells and the testes show signs of becoming more like ovaries."
"Last week, news broke that a prominent stem cell researcher is making human-monkey chimeras in a secretive lab in China."

Lol..the social contract is what the constitution was designed after...again sorry if you don't agree with a concept you don't know anything about but it makes you ignorant.
And by the way read the article. Looks like you missed a great deal.
The links and evidence were given several times. It's up to you to read them.
Continuing ignorance is just that. Ignorance.
If you don't understand where technology is today that is not the problem. The problem is your lack of concern for reality and learning what that is.
I get it it's easier to join a tribe or religion and let them do your thinking.
If you are worried about the morality of genetic engineering you should at least learn a little about what you are afraid and come up with an arguement from logic...that way people may actually consider you have an educated opinion.

The younger generation really doesn't care about the ideals of baby boomers.
They will care when the nwo boots are on their necks and they can't do anything without a licence. I'll be dead by then :-)
Cheers - Dave
I am a late baby boomer and my children, and many other new 'hippy' people, will bring those same ideals right down your throat.

I'm totally on board. Next time someone calls me a racist because they're losing an argument, I'll inform them that I identify as part black. And as we all know, black people can't be racist. If everyone went this route, racism would disappear overnight!
Full disclosure, I'm part Sicilian, so I probably do have a smidge of African DNA from back when Africans invaded Sicily and enslaved my ancestors.
