Truth. The cafe crusader progressives identify Walmart customers with the right, poor rural folk who need to shop there because we can't afford their expensive organic # at the local Fresh Market or whatever. Just because Walmart's leadership stopped selling "assault rifles" (a lot of good it did, eh?) doesn't mean Antifa doesn't hate Wal Mart shoppers.

There's still no evidence that this guy was Antifa though.

The guns have always been here. The mass shootings haven't.

So something changed, and it wasn't the guns. It was the people and the society around them.

It's the f# SSRIs they're pumping into everyone. They are known to trigger manic episodes in unstable folks, and doctors will prescribe them for literally anything.

I don't think that's all of it or even a part.

I think these are the kids who have never been tested, never been allowed to test their limits and actually snap. Most kids do that at a young age, when they're young enough they aren't going to really hurt anyone. They meet that side of themselves and recognize it so they can control it. They test each other, get hurt, but learn boundaries and respect that way.

But these are the participation age kids. They aren't allowed to play rough games - someone might get hurt. They aren't allowed to win and lose - someone might get hurt. They never test their limits and learn who they are, really are.

So eventually, some of them drop off the deep end and snap in a way that's catastrophic and they don't really understand what they're doing because they never learned all those lessons.

Yeah, culture can exacerbate it, but only because the weakness was in there to begin with.

While I agree with everything you just said, that is entirely a culture problem. Our culture used to be the thing olaru still thinks it is, and these mass shootings didn't happen as often then. Now it's what you described, and these kind of shootings are increasing.
