It's an indigenous food and highly prized in the desert eaten raw or cooked. I prefer cooked. Got some the other day at work and one of the guys, as I was plucking them out the timber and bark started gulping them down, eating them as fast as I could pull them out.

Not for all though. True Love ate them raw when she went hunting with the women in the desert years ago. She's not partial now preferring a good sanger to a bogon moth grub.

Yikes, I didn't know you actually ate the darned things! I'd be screaming just looking at one. I'd be doing my spider/bee dance... ya know, when you see something that freaks you out and your are jumping up down with your arms flailing and all.

Yeah I know the feeling. The Orb spider weaves it magic between my Citrus trees and I'm talking yards/meters in diameter of meticulously wound web, then sits there in the middle of the flaming thing. Nearly hand width in size are the bigger spiders and black and yellow bands blending with the bush lemons and pomello's. Not dangerous and not known to bite.

Along comes a bally...whack! right in the face. (dammit!)
Tight web sticking to all parts and this flamin spider running over my face and head and I start doing that famous dance "The dance of the flaming ass holes".

"Arrgh, f this and f that. Jeeeez!"

True love come out and says, "You alright honey?"

I reply, "Yeah, um,(thinking) I stepped on a scorpion and a snake at the same time but the eagle swooping in for the kill hit me in the head (wiping face)."

True love, "Where's the snake????"

Me (sheepishly because I'm a lying man), "The eagle got it and flew away with the scorpion attached by it's claws aye?"

True love, "Nah, Nahhhh, bullsh17,. you walked through that web again...!!! didn't you?"

Me, " Nahh, yeah,nah, but nah, true as honey bun....nah."

True love, "You wanta coffee and smoke."

Me, girly squirming, smilin, smilin, "Yeah okay baby doll"

True love, "Then come up and make it and roll one for me too."

Cloud thinking pops up. "Dammit!"

Yeah babe, i would like to give a prayer you and Mark for but i refuse to do that. Please let me explain. I found god about 22 years ago when i reached adult age and thought plenty of about stuff. Those prayers had led me to my destruction. And therefore, i will no longer pray upon other people, because i think that the same curses may follow those people.

Hey i know that you are a father of many children. That must feel so awesome!

Just take a moment of think about it. Millions of years of evolution. And your DNA strain will continue! I love kids and i usually get along with them very well. I love their purity and honesty. A couple of times a little child has told me to my face "Japi, you smell bad"

And adult cannot basically do that. Adult is conditioned in behavioral and social norms. A kid is not! I love kids!

My dog, Suzie, does something really funny. She lifts her back paw like she's going to kick me (which she does often) and I say, "foot", and it starts shaking. The more I say it the more it shakes, like it's powering up. She is such a stinker.

Haha, animals can be so comical. Kya always makes me laugh when he does this different meow thing. If you ask him a question or are saying certain things, he will vocalize in a quieter tone and it seems like he's saying, "Huh?" Or, "What?" Filled with curiosity.

My DNA contains the strain of nuclei know as 'Ballus Hallus Gasseous Crikeyness'. This lends itself to a bit of smell which over the decades my children have learned to 'overcome' when I let rip with a good fart. They've gone from that innocent OMG surprised look as gentle little children to 'Crikey Dad, you still leaking from there. Better go to the doc.' I might reply with,
"Hope you didn't get any on you!" or "Been to India? Well get that in to ya." The best place for embarrassing them and 'true love' was at the supermarket shopping. I'd drop a real nice loud one. This clears the aisle and I could then cup my hands around my mouth, make a loud radio scratching sound then announce, "Customers, a special is in aisle 3!"
I then resume shopping by myself.

As you can see Fin, I am not really 'conditioned'. I can be a kid any old time.

Sometimes when she does that I say, "What? You? You kick me? You're going to kick me?" and she will. Sometimes she grabs me hand with her front paws and moves it down so she can kick it with both back paws.
