One thing I most expect from my health care visits is for something to go wrong or just plain not work.
Today was almost one of those days. I arrive early for the echo-cardiogram to be told that my appointment had been cancelled and my appointment slot
was taken by someone else. From what I can understand from previous visits to this cardiologist office not everyone has complete access to all the
patient information. Therefore the techs working there today could not tell me who or why I no longer had an appointment.
The echo tech did offer to see me if they had any no shows and didn't mind waiting. I was all in favor of doing so since I had planned to be there
anyway. Fortunately, the person who was scheduled to be there at my now former appointment time did not show up. I was taken in back and had the
procedure taken care of.
Now, as I do with everything in my life, I wait. I wait until Monday to call the office to find out what is going on and if my appointment for
getting a heart monitor on Tuesday is still good.
