Let's pretend for a second that birds keep tabs on us and try to manipulate our environment if they dislike us.

If that's not enough, let's humor the idea plants can communicate and change the immediate setting to favor their survival at the expense of animals.

And, alas, those are real occurrences.

Of the two, I find that squirrel tastes better.

Although robin breasts make a pretty decent version of a lark pie, if done right.

TMI, perhaps?

Great info, but that's why I really have no follow through on my "anger" over these things. I won't kill anything intentionally that I don't intend to consume(circle of life and all that).

Still it is pretty frustrating, after all it is MY PROPERTY. I've showen them the deed and they just chirp and fly away. Little bastards.

Oh K'mon now... I'm trying to help!

Use robins the exact same way you would if you were making a pigeon pie.

I've heard that they have been making a comeback since GoT has pigeon pies in there somewhere.

Although my wife just pointed out that it might be slightly illegal to shoot robins now in the US since they are song birds?

Erm...

Well, obviously, if I shot any robins I would tie a brick to them and throw them in the nearest river.....

I am Italian.

Actually, robins are omnivorous and squirrels eat meat if they get too hungry...

So I think we'll be OK.

I don't hate robins!

They taste pretty good with a little butter and Herbs de Provence!

I just prefer squirrel, campfire baked with a bit of butter and salt.

Does that make me a speciest?

~shocked look~

You're a monster.

Whats wrong with a high soy diet? Soy robin burgers?

I think I actually saw them in the freezer isle the other day. Right next to the soy squirrel patties.

Those cuts are too lean for me.

Nothing confit with duck fat can't fix though.

Indian? So your ancestors killed off the soy buffalo. That's why we don't have access to free range soy anymore and have to make it out of #weed and other crap.

Well, it was rather easy to kill a soy buffalo... they had no energy really and you just pushed them over and they died.

Wasn't our fault about the extinction thing though!!!!

The soy buffalo bulls all grew tits and got all needy and emotional, the cows ended up not being interested in breeding and nature took its course.

Soy... a natural pseudo-estrogen.

Thank God that no other species got into using soy a lot as a food source!

I apologize for my part in derailing your CIA squirrel thread and it may indeed have merit.

May I also say this has been the funnest thread I have been in for awhile so S&F for the theory!
