Not everyone agrees with you.
That's kind of my whole point.
hat was the whole idea and why the Romans invented it.
After almost four centuries of existing on the margins, Christianity became the state religion of the Roman Empire in 395 C.E.
By AD 325, an estimated 7 million were Christians with as many as 2 million killed for the faith

China govt is anti-religion - all religion. Christians are persecuted to an extent there, but it is "tolerated" as long as monitored and controlled. You will not see churches receiving status or political clout. Muslims have it far worse to the point that they are often put into re-education camps. It is all kept hush hush. Chinese Buddhism is the only religion there that has acceptance, but again it is also monitored and restricted from growing into any type of movement.

Ohhhh, the bad guys are coming for Christians all over the world. My question is just why should Christians be worried. By what many of them think they won't even be here when this crack down widens. They will have raptured so that only the fake Christians will be left here to be persecuted.

I don't understand how people can justify anything based on religion, good or bad, peaceful or violent ,it is ALL a bunch of crap.
Religion is just another way of keeping people divided, even people with the same religion are divided because they pick and choose which parts of their religion they like and ignore the parts that they don't like and thus you get the infighting.

I have thought for quite a while that Saul's ''moment on the road'' was not a conversion to Jesus, but rather the light bulb idea of a new religion of salvation he could sell to the Roman's to replace the fading Greek Gods they had previously believed in. There are a number of books written on that subject one of which was The Mythmaker by Maccoby.

And if you have never heard this song by Leon Rosselson, you might like to give this one a listen. It's quite rousing on the issue of this very topic as you present it.
Reception of Maccoby's view Reception of Maccoby's view of Paul has generally been negative.[6] John Gager of Princeton University reviewed The Mythmaker (1986) in the Jewish Quarterly Review (1988) describing part of Maccoby's thesis as "perverse misreading" and concluded "Thus I must conclude that Maccoby's book is not good history, not even history at all."[7] Skarsaune (2002), referencing Maccoby's work and the theory that Paul represents a Christianity totally different from that of the early community in Jerusalem, writes that "Acts provides no evidence to substantiate this theory."[8] James D. G. Dunn (2006) describes Maccoby's revival of Graetz' accusations that Paul was a Gentile as "a regrettable reversion to older polemics".[9] The continuity with Graetz is also noted by Langton (2009), who contrasts Maccoby's approach with adherents of a "building bridges" view, such as Isaac Mayer Wise, Joseph Krauskopf, and Claude Montefiore, even if they shared some details of the polemic critique of Paul.[10]
