Well exactly, the few candidates that aren’t insane and seem like real people are attacked by the establishment: Tulsi and Bernie to a lesser extent.

I would submit either of those two would handle the donald.
I don't think they will be given the opportunity.
Tulsi checks all the boxes and I bet she still gets the shaft.
The dnc has not forgiven bernie for his part in hillarys loss(even tho it is imagined).

Well who isn't?

"He says that "he's an A-hole and I'm not", and I'm quoting him here, "one-hundred percent a dick".

And don't give me the whole story about not following who you are told.....that colander didn't magically appear on your head.

No one told me, I was drawn to his noodleness.

In fact, the holy sauced one is rather forward and honest with those whom he boiled for their sins.

Take commandment 7 for instance, and I feel this one really speaks to me.

7. I'd Really Rather You Didn't Go Around Telling People I Talk To You. You're Not That Interesting. Get Over Yourself. And I Told You To Love Your Fellow Man, Can't You Take A Hint?

2016 should have taught people everything that they need to know.

It doesn’t matter who you vote for it only matters to whom the superdelegates vote for in the primary. And then that anointed one has to figure out a strategy to defeat the Republican candidate without alienating what the Democrats have said is the “important issues” so they have voters to overturn rural America’s votes.

Trump won by campaigning in Democratic strongholds that were ignored because they figured their vote was in the bag. But we’re not as solid as people thought. And Trump’s losses in those areas were very narrow.

Plain and simple fact is Hillary lost by ignoring voters, alienating swing voters with the deplorable comment and having too many unresolved ethical questions.

The fact they are even considering him demonstrates they've got nothing to offer as a candidate.

They got Beto. And the GOP is praying to God they don't put him on the ticket.

And Beto has big money and is already out campaigning like a rock star, media darling.

And if trump continues to slump in the polls, he won't run.

And trump isn't fairing well even on Fox.

I think Tulsi would pull far more independents than Beto... But that's just me.

Edit: it would be interesting if Trump didn't run, and I think a billionaire in his 70's may want to live the rest of his life without the stress. But I'd be inclined to think he'd run and resign rather than not run at all.

Well the left is also only increasing in the whole identity politics and ‘social justice’/feminism thing.

Beto is an empty suit. For me he seems like a manufactured fake candidate. Just because he’s outgoing, skates, and was in a band doesn’t make him a good candidate. Yes, the media is loving him up. But, that’s because he serves a purpose. He didn’t earn that independently. To top it off, the whole cynical move to market him as “Beto” is distasteful.

Absolutely. Beto isn’t an independent nor really anti establishment. She is far more real.

Well and that’s partly how they lost the 2016 election: shafting Bernie and independent liberals. Tulsi is great. I’d vote for her. I can’t handle these corrupt establishment candidates though such as Harris or booker. Someone get me a barf bag.

IMO what was done to bernie will be studied for generations.
It is what got kavanaugh and gorsuch on the SCOTUS imo.

It should be. The problem is that much of the media, dnc, and dem electorate won’t have an honest convo about it.

It should be.

Why not?
It "should" have been a victory lap for "her". Instead a major party, and the msm, conspired to select a candidate despite what primaries showed. The 2016 election cycle will be studied in political science classes for decades imo.

To be fair, he got closer as a dem running for senate in Texas than most who's tried before him for quite a while...

That said, I still don't think he would get many independents, like Quetzal said, he's establishment.

Not in Texas. The GOP machine in Texas is powerful and still Beto almost won.

Both parties don't give a flying flip on who the people want. Ron Paul saw that first hand in 2012.

The GOP put a stick in their own bike tire on that one.
