I think you can take Burroughs' sudden "retirement" as yet another sign that TTSA isn't going to ever tell us anything we don't already know. It's just a repackaging and rebranding campaign as mentioned above. They want to own the narrative. They are not spilling any of the good stuff, just making more weapons out of what they can gather.

It's times like this that I would love for the Great Trickster(s) who are really behind all of this phenomena to manifest a major event that would make these intel con men pee their pants.

I think you could spin that on its head and suggest that we are the tricksters (con-men, counter-intelligence agenda, lies, deception, obscuring or hiding our true motive). And that the ‘Great Intelligence’ might merely be striving to keep us from technological advancement or achieving our ends when we’re clearly not ready, or haven’t thought through the consequences.

I would say they’ve give us some warnings over the years. But who is listening?

Tic-tac events, nuclear base flyovers, Big Sur, Malmstrom shutdowns? Look, we know where you are, what you're doing, we can decipher your communications, we can shut down your nuclear devices. Do you honestly think we're daft or not watching? We know you're playing silly war games or practising manoeuvres and you're playing with fire.

You can make your own guesses (or ignore the testimony), but those slides Zondo presented (AATIP Mission Focus, MUFON Symposium July 29 2018) show we’re not learning anything. It’s all about one-upmanship, strategic surprise, battlespace dominance, technology acquisition.

Stan (RIP) was right about us taking our brand of friendship out there.

On Burroughs: perhaps he may have realised that he is “chasing after and fighting with windmills” (see: Dr. Eric Walker). It seems you can get so far along with this subject, even come away absolutely convinced (or know) that there’s something out there, but know there’s nothing you can ultimately do about it.

But there’s a hope that draws you back. Perhaps a movement, a seed of information, something which teases you into believing the windmill will stop spinning.

Well they do show that he's telling lies.

Please note it is says :

2007- DIA solicits contracts and BAASS is awarded the contract.

2008 - AAWSAP is formally changed to AATIP.

In August 2008 the AAWSAP Contract was put out to tender....

ADVANCED AEROSPACE WEAPON SYSTEM APPLICATIONS PROGRAM
Solicitation Number: HHM40208R0211
Agency: Other Defense Agencies
Office: Virginia Contracting Activity
Location: DIA Bolling AFB

Synopsis:
Added: Aug 18, 2008 1:53 am

Source

I would say that by the time formal bids were put in place and studied for suitability it would be 2009 before anything AAWSAP related could even begin.

Just jumping back to Bigelow for a second (and he seems to always be at the end of every alley way you wander down related to this field), I still don't know what to make of this oddly redacted final section of Mezrich's book on Chuck Zukowski. Chuck has been chasing down animal mutilations and UFOs in the desert and is tripping over traces of Bigelow throughout the book. In this scene he comes upon lights and a dead animal and runs toward them:

What are we supposed to make of this? Does the flying object actually have a Bigelow Aerospace nameplate on it? What is it doing with the dead animal? The redactions make it almost possible to decipher this big reveal.

An interesting excerpt from KeithB's blog regarding who has made FOIAS and what they were asking for;

. Las Vegas journalist George Knapp [00158] submitted a request:

"Requesting all document, reports and contracts relating to and provided in conjunction with contract # HHM402-08-C-0072 Defense Intelligence Agency 2008-2010."

Why is this of interest? It doesn't even mention AATIP? Well, on 8 May 2018, after Paul Dean announced that the original program name was AAWSAP, I located an online copy of the 32 page DIA solicitation inviting firms to submit bids to undertake the AAWSAP for the DIA. The number of this solicitation was HHM402-08-R-0211.

So, what was George Knapp looking for with HHM402-08-C-0072? I have searched the net for an answer. Even the Loren Data Federal Business Opportunities website, which records every solicitation and subsequent contract is silent on the nature of 0072. At the moment, only George Knapp knows the answer to why 0072?

The contract reference number relates a contract that was solicitated on the 19th September 2008;
Source

Also of note is;

An unusual request [00129] came from one Craig Strahler:

"Requesting any documents of the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP) and mentioning the name Craig Strahler."

Was Strahler a BAASS staffer; an AATIP staffer; a witness? Can any blog reader enlighten me?

Yep George has pulled a clever one there.

HHM402-08-C-0072 is the CONTRACT PIIN (Procurement Instrument Identification Number)in This DIA document

Note - The PIIN Procurement Instrument Identification Number (PIIN) – a Procurement Instrument Identification Number (PIIN) is an identifier that consists of 13 alpha-numeric characters grouped to convey certain information. The first six numbers are the DoDAAC; seven and eight are the fiscal year the PIIN was assigned; 9 is a letter representing the instrument type; and 10-13 are the four digit serial number

This specific contract PIIN is a reference to HHM402-08-R-0211 - Or the 2008 AAWSAP Invitations for Tender Documentaion

So the FOI request in this case appears to refer back to the AAWSAP contract. Breaking it down.

DoDAAC - HHM402-08 = VIRGINIA CONTRACTING AGENCY( 9773) from DIA Bolling AFB.

Fiscal Year = 08 (2008)

Instrument Type - "C" represents the instrument identifier
Which in this case is

Contracts of all types except indefinite delivery contracts, facilities contracts, sales contracts, and contracts placed with or through other Government departments or agencies or against contracts placed by such departments or agencies outside the DoD

Serial Number - 0072

So he's asking for all the BAAS contracts and reports related to the original AAWSAP solicitation if I got my facts right.

Ben Mezrich, the author has always made a point of getting a TV or film deal, since breakouts such as the Social Network.

www.ufonut.com...

The first episode is about SkinWalker Ranch.

You are of course, quite right about the odd nature of that page.

We will now start seeing more of the respected ufologists / historians jump onboard the TTSA train. Their slow marketing strategy with some quarters is going to start your bear fruit and it will start to become obvious very soon who has been onside all along. Especially those whose criticism went oddly quiet very quickly.

Whilst the remaining ones that still openly disagree with TTSA are being taken apart on social media. How? Information the young guns have been provided with by the likes of the "secondary advisory group" before anyone else is being used in a "bait and switch" strategy and unfortunately people like John Greenwald are rising to it everytime.

They will claim something, he will defend his position, they then rely on information that is then provided "publically" to prove thier case.

Not the young guns, the old guns, or any kind of gun can make something out of nothing.

TTSA=Nothing…
The proof is in the output, and so far, their output = 0
They have revealed, disclosed NOTHING

TDL is running around saying we got the government to admit its investigating and believes in ufos.

I agree with you mostly, however you can make something out of nothing. You can create a belief from nothing and do not have to show something for that belief to grow and spread and be believed.

It's an interesting perspective/experiment on how some of this information spreads and the methods that are employed to do so and also to see what people will believe. It's the "why" that interests me, it's clearly bollocks, well that my opinion, but that doesn't stop the "why" siren going off in my head.

The deployment of memes and insertion of cultural beliefs. I believe the "why" in an extremely simplistic perspective circles around;

1) controlling and manipulating people's beliefs/thoughts/cultural ideologies - using that for military applications on a biological level for strategic advantage on the battlefield

2) point 1) is also used to cover up the application of the military level application.

Conclusion ; the cover-up is the cover-up! Nothing to do with "aliens" ; it's a two win situation IMO

My Trotters two cents anyway....

I agree one can make something out of nothing. But then it's not really nothing it's something that is peripheral to one’s main goal of disclosing ufo information from the government…TDL’s FAKE suggestive claim.

That is nothing in relation to the stated goals of TTSA.

We got a traditional ufo organization with a little cred from the gov IC boys and their press flunkies. That has propelled them to a TV documentary. And granted, TTSA has excited the ufo community that was apparently becoming moribund...
Maybe that's something.

IMO the New York Times article was totally lacking in news. it wasn't even interesting as a colorful feature story. Is this really where we are nearly two years after TTSA was announced - a story about pilots seeing flying objects that they can't identify?

I have not heard last night's Coast to Coast but judging by the complete lack of buzz today I can only guess that it too presented nothing earth shattering.

I expect the same from this week's Unidentified premiere.

Has this latest round of Disclosure run out of gas already?

I love it how you guys move the goalpost constantly in regards to TTSA....
Why do I have a feeling that if the president himself came out and total the populace that we are indeed being visited.
You folks would still scream "disinformation"...or find some conspiracy to explain away the fact that we are being visited by UAP's and like it or not TTSA played a significant role in informing the public.

How were the goal posts moved exactly and where in coursecatalogs post did he state this or reference this moving of goalposts?

In terms of

the fact that we are being visited by UAP's
- what would you say is the killer piece of evidence in your opinion?
