Yes, as it relates to susceptibility to hypnosis.

I suspect a connection between infrasound and susceptible people.

—-> The big announcement will be that they are closer than ever to understanding the materials, but more work needs to be done. Hence more funding.

Oh and a 9-12 episode series, made by A+E on History and starting in June.

This series and its crew are under NDA, I’ve had that confirmed.

On March 7th I called the right station, production company for TTSAs just announced series. I got the number of episodes wrong. I’m surprised about that. If you go back, I’d mentioned the 9-12 episode series a few times.

In my opinion, this is the biggest announcement we will get before the end of series cliffhanger. I expect much cheerleading of this series and expectations of a BIg announcement soon. Then, when it’s only small stuff, “reason” will be given to walk this back to series end.

Just my two cents.

In light of that it's interesting that Vallee seems to plug Robert Temple's Open To Suggestion in FS 4. I happen to agree that knowledge pertaining to hypnosis was/is the bigger secret being kept about MK-ULTRA and associated projects.

On a side note, did anyone else notice that Vallee seems to throw the term "Bimbo" around a lot? Even when he doesn't know the women and based mostly--apparently--on their clothes choices?

Also, Vallee really comes out of the woo-woo closet with this latest addition. I find it funny that he cast aspersions on some of the new age folk when he and Puthoff (and the rest of them for that matter) seem firmly in that camp and have some pretty out there beliefs themselves. Very "superior" these cats and calls into question whether they own a mirror or not.

That same superiority is more than evidenced in the Gang of 5 emails Puthoff and Green were a part of during their SERPO hoax.

I have, and similar concepts. I wondered if it was due to some sort of translation issue.

I never noticed the bimbo phrases yet but your right about Vallee. He’ll critique someone for bizarre ideas and then come up with his own bizarre ideas and then their all right. And indeed these bizarre ideas he likes are usually associated with the gang of 5 and associates---usually government associates.

I think it’s a typical ego psychological thing. Though it may be something more sinister.

I did notice in one of his books he went around, with a very bad attitude, debunking the bizarros of Ufology and wondered, as I still do, who finances Vallee’s research. His own money from his investments maybe?
Or a more secret arrangement?

Bottom line, unfortunately, no one in this field can be 100 percent trusted

In one instance--and I'm quoting from memory and may botch the phrase somewhat but the intent seemed pretty clear--he referred to someone's secretary or assistant basically as a "bimbo in a short pink skirt."

He used bimbo again later in reference to a "Puerto Rican" waitress although I'm unsure what her nationality had to do with his remarks.

He's French, though, so maybe he gets a pass? Maybe it was translated badly but how that would get by a proofreader I'd be hard-pressed to imagine. On the other hand--if it was a correct translation--maybe we should give Vallee kudos for honesty in not changing his remarks??!

Hugs, Zazz.

The French didn't allow women to vote until 1945. They're very effectively a backward nation.

I'll see if I can dig that up. A very important part of this puzzle I do believe. At the very least extremely revealing of the personalities involved. Takes a bit of stamina to work through--and keep up with who is talking to who--but well worth it imo.

Team of 5 was the monicker instead of Gang of 5. Here's a batch of them that opens as a PDF. Not sure if this is the totality or not.

This might be a good time to revisit Pilkington's work and assertions. It seems most of us here realize we're being herded to either a conclusion or some kind of "reveal."

While the textual content of the presentation is not online, we can infer from the slides that the powerpoint outlines applied techniques for deploying psychology, deception, illusion, dissimulation, magic, religion and belief in their intelligence and counter-intelligence operations. These are the tools of the trade for the Mirage Men.

And, sure enough, scroll down to pages 35 to 37  in Strand 2: Influence and Information Operations and you will find three slides of UFO photographs…

If you’ve made it to this blog in the first place, then you don’t need me to explain why this is interesting.

While we don’t want to fall into the trap of confirmation bias that they refer to in slide 11, it is tempting to read the images as demonstrating that GCHQ consider the UFO subject, its attendant beliefs, and the vocal  community surrounding it, to be a useful field of operations for their activities.

The slides of UFOs and classic flying saucers might illustrate the ways that people have a tendency to see what they want to see, or want to believe in, and the ways in which their perceptions can be managed with just a few contextual nudges.

Slide 24 ‘Gambits of Deception’ lays out the building blocks of a classic Mirage Men-style deception operation, whereby all the elements of attention, perception, content, affect and behaviour modification can be shaped and steered. These are the magician’s secret weapons; as the card reads, in order to obtain their desired outcome the successful illusionist will need to “control attention / mask & mimic / exploit prior beliefs / create cognitive stress (and then) channel behaviour”.

Mirage Men Revealed By Greenwald?

Interesting that Magician John Mulholland makes one of the slides. He's the guy that Frank Olsen was taken to shortly before his death.

Vallee in some of his books does come across at times as a little cruel.

Even though his acrid personality comes across sometimes in his writing, overall, he seems to be a decent chap.

His contribution to Ufology is of course great. I know sometimes I get on him but it's nothing personal. It's just that ufology in the US is a polluted mess. Anyone coming out of it has to be suspect.

I think I'll go back and read his forward to the TTSA book, Gods man and War.

Also, does anyone know how Vallee views TTSA?
