To everyone with an issue. What exactly is the problem besides you don't approve and you don't like it blah blah? Affects you all not at all so why care so much?

Because the current activism does affect others, as I have very specifically detailed.

I don't have a problem with anyone doing what they will as long as they aren't hurting anyone. That's where I draw the line. And people are being hurt.

I really and truly wish that I could be on the side promoting the actual rights and dignity of transgender persons because the only way to protect "my" rights is to protect everyone's rights. But this goes far beyond rights into entitlement and appropriation of others' rights. I really and truly hope that one day we can get past this gaslighting and address actual legitimate issues that benefit ALL of us.

But we aren't there yet.

I'm amazed the movie Ted II hasn't been banned yet, because the abrasive, animated bear tells his frustrated buddy: "There are no chicks with dicks; only guys with tits".

But, knowing the loony left at the moment, they'll probably still get around to teddy-bear and DVD bonfires over that line.

Well this person evidently doesn't get it, since he's claiming a penis can be BIOLOGICALLY female.

So you've missed all the multiple discussions of rules being changed to allow biological and I intact men into women's-only spaces? Of trans "women" crushing real women in sports? A penis is never a "female" thing. It doesn't magically become female just because you think you are a female, just like a male body doesn't suddenly have periods, or a female body having periods will not suddenly become a male body with periods.

This is the problem with this transsexual stuff.

Most of us get it, we really do, that gender and sex are two different things, but when we hear them say stuff like this, we don't think they do. They may believe all they want that they are really a man in woman's body or a woman in a man's body, but that belief does not have the power to change their body's biology anymore than it has the power to change the normal functions of that body into "male" functions or "female" ones.

Sorry, honey, that is a penis. It belongs on a male body. It will never be a female penis no matter how much you believe you are a woman. You will have to come to grips with that. Your biology and your gender do not align, and the rest of us are not required, should not be required to pretend with you to the degree that we pretend your gender trumps your actual biology.

We are not talking about biological sexes. We're talking about genders.

Another word being re-defined so that now "gender" is just gobbledygook for stereotypes. And often quite offensive and misogynistic stereotypes.

Long before anyone dreamed up "brain gender," gender and sex were basically synonymous. Long before we knew about hormones or chromosomes or any other "male" or "female" biological markers, sex and gender were defined by anatomy and one's sex and gender were the same.

There is absolutely no empirical evidence for "brain gender" and I therefore do not make any such distinction.

What else could it be called? It is what it is -- a penis. But is sure as hell isn't a "female" penis!!!

I don't know how to make it any simpler. Trans women are trans women. Trans men are trans men. Why are they so afraid of being trans women and trans men? Why do trans women, especially, demand to be called and considered in all respects to be "women?" Why must they deny their transgender status and steal someone else's identity?

Why am I (and others) vilified as "transphobic" for rightfully calling trans women trans women, but trans women are the ones who are so afraid of and outraged by being rightfully called trans women. That is literally transphobia.

As to the last one, thank you for clarifying. I've never heard of any transgender people being afraid to identify as transgender people or being called one. You'll have to give examples.

They very much care.

And nobody is requiring you to "pretend".

When our thoughts and speech are policed and even persecuted for not using proper pronouns and/or for calling trans women "trans women," then yes, we are being required under threat of civil and/or criminal prosecution to pretend.

Even worse, we are being forced by autogynephiles into sexual roleplay for their sexual fantasies.

If I am being required to call it a female penis, yes I am being asked to play pretend right along with them.

The penis is a male sex organ. It developed into a penis instead of a clitoris/vagina/vulva because the right hormones at the right time during gestation triggered that development along with the right chromosomes being present in the unborn child.

It takes the right combination of chromosomes and hormones to trigger one sex-specific endocrine system over the other - male or female, and only in the tiniest percentage (less than the percentage of transgenders) do we the signals get crossed or chromosomal abnormalities occur.
