Oh and dont forget people who sneak in beta modules..Thats always fun..The best message thats fun I get is "That file isnt the one your looking for"...Even though its the same file name...
They should pay CADMonkeys more..Oh and dont forget the fact than you can edit the Sheetmetal tables in SW so the folded part may or may not fit the bits around it when its done..

Nobody is struck by the fact that in the illustration the plane blends with the background?.

It's just a deviant art fan drawing, no idea if they stole it or was a paid commission as some details have been changed but most left in place.

EDIT* Looks like reddit solved the case again, the artist has been credited

I was instantly struck by this, seemed like a big ol' optical-stealth tease to me. I know, Deviant Art and all, but could they have selected the art, or commissioned the artist, with this intent?

looking at the image again, I think that perhaps the artist did not want to hide the model but to show two different models, a high-speed model and a high-maneuverability model.

I would not put too much into the picture. While possible that's the basis for the NGAD, I'd doubt they'd release a representative image that way.

My god what a coincidence! Today I found a pencil sketch I did in about 1987-88 of a tailless stealth fighter. It looked like that deviant art picture sans canards. Very strange to see for me.

One option for reducing demand on tankers is a new fighter aircraft that is designed to carry more fuel.

“Maybe having [the] small, currently sized fighters is not the way to go in [the] future,” Roper said. “And since we’re all abuzz with digital engineering and thinking about what the future fighter force could look like, thinking about bigger fighters is a natural question.”

Would aviation companies like Lockheed and Boeing already have advanced prototypes in the works in anticipation for requests in the future?

Thinking about sighting like the flying Doritoes a few years back and similar.
