In my college years, I could dunk a basketball on a regulation 10 foot goal. I'm 5'8" and white.

Dude, no way!
We were all schooled back in the 90's that White Men Can't Jump!
Guess they forgot about Fosbury.

Let me try this one;
I was the first lay chairman of Penge Council of Churches, and also their last chairman. (Since I have never been a man of power and influence, it ought to be surprising to find me chairman of anything. I was quite surprised myself.)

As an underage teenager, that did some disturbing things to get the access, I was one of the personal security officers (guards) that was to escort all of the bands to and from stage on December 30th 1999 at the Pontiac Silverdome (no longer exists).

The bands included:
Kid Rock w/ Joe-C
Sevendust
Ted Nugent
Metallica

I got to meet them all briefly and actually raced Nugent up the stairs at his request. When Metallica exited their van, I was starstruck, awestruck and had to mentally make my appendages move. I was a yuge fanboy. Even wore my favorite shirt under my uniform.

I am the Hubba Bubba bubblegum blowing state champion of 1984-1986. I retired undefeated.

I still use that accolade to pick up women.

Wow... talk about a conversation starter

Hi, did you know I can blow bubblegum better than anyone else on earth??

I have a huge collection of all kinds of embroidery threads, cotton, silk, overdyed, variegated, vintage, etc. I have never added up how much I have spent on them over the years but it's probably in the thousands.

I do love my embroidery thread. And yes, I use it, too.

Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad lives a couple of miles down the road from us although we have never met him. And we live in a small town, too.

I love embroidery too, but I'm not good at it.

I worked in high end fabric store early in my career. I helped buy tassels and thread and such, just for a small retail section it cost over 100K. Some tassels and cording were over $100 a yard!
