I just think it's crazy that anyone is actually crying about suspected rioters being detained and forced to kneel lol.
Better than an extendable baton over the head

It’s all bad because “da kids!” Doesn’t matter what they’ve done. The poor, innocent, little sweethearts.

Do you miss your mummy ? Because one of them at least was missing her mum at the time

Then they shouldn’t have done something criminal. I’m sure they’ll miss their mummies more in whatever the french version of juvenile hall is.

I like your approach to policing, it should be adopted by my local constabulary.

I wouldn;t have lined them them in the prone position

Where were any of them 'prone'?

They were kneeling....its hardly stuff of The Inquisition or Dark Ages is it?

I nearly fell asleep watching The Toon....they are rubbish.

It's getting close to make or break time....pub or not?

Lol, when I was a teenager cops wouldn't think twice about hitting us with their sticks, kneeling would have been preferable for sure.
I don't want a return to those days, but crying about being forced to kneel is funny as #.

I mostly blame the parents. Kids aren't learning about actions having consequences.

At least they can clap eyes on the face of a judge , not the mask of summary justice administered ad hoc

If you have to ask, you’re not drunk enough.

Off to the pub with thee!

What justice? They were being detained for their actions, not punished.....yet.

Your prone is my prostate so let's call it the submission position instead . Hope none of them needed the loo...

Yeah! Those poor poor kids!

Damn the police for detaining violent criminals!

Anyone who thinks these kids were mistreated in any way by being made to kneel, is a gutless wussy.

Being made to kneel, pffft. What a heavy handed tactic.

As I said before, they were being kept there until further action was agreed.
No physical harm occurred.

The police were not acting as judge and jury...or executioner.

No summary justice at all.

Which piece of thin air did you pick that out of?

And again.....why did you repeatedly try to bring the opinion of women into the conversation, where was the relevance?

Sorry, no grammar gymnastics.....lets just call it what it was - kneeling.

It literally couldn't be any simpler!

I was thinking the op was a child who has been grounded and told they can’t play minecraft.

Either or.

Nah I'm not getting led off down the garden path by you sir . The facts only were presented , and a faux appraisal of their warrant for publicity took place .

We're back to presumption of innocence before any decision of a court of law , and being lined up against a wall or in row is in itself a presumption of guilt and constitutes cruel and unusual punishment especially for children .

Mad as a box of frogs!

My mates would just shake their heads and wonder why I put up with such idiocy....they might have a point.

And after that bit of stupidity from you, I’m done. I can only take so much laughing before it hurts too much.

Don’t forget everyone, let everyone go because it’s presumption of guilt!

Pmsl!

The OP is calling kneeling while waiting for vans to take them to the police station 'cruel and unusual punishment' now, you couldn't make it up, funny as #!

Haha for the amusement mate!
I love a crazy cat OP for a chuckle, although I'm not replying to the member any more its a good laugh reading the interactions others are having.

OMGZ!!! Forced to kneel until the police vans arrived to pick them up...imagine if they had handcuffed them as well, I think some of the 'kids' would actually be at risk of dying!
The OP is silly and lame...but amusing.

You got me, can't help but bite to that lol.
That wasn't police brutality, if you think it is then you have had a very sheltered life haha, brutality is being shot, tased or beaten when you've not been a risk to police.
You are funny mate
