GOP Asks Brain-Damaged Woman to Testify

Just as I stated yesterday this will not be over for sometime to come.

Just one question though, how can a brain damaged person testify?

The answer is they don't expect her to testify -- it's a stall tactic and as a Republican I am disgusted. At the same time you have to admire the irony -- when Congress wants to do something they surely can. Now, let's pass some real legislation instead of setting precedents that further restrict our rights as humans to make decisions. What's next, a bill that restricts employees from resigning to take other employment if their boss disagrees?

Aside from how anyone feels on this issue....the past few weeks have demonstrated an amazing abuse of power by many elected officials, directly countering an order by every court on up to the State Supreme Court. I agree with both of the above recent comments

The US Supreme court ruled in 1993 that issues such as this are to be on a state level.

This case has passed all the tests required and it should have been over along time ago.

All Florida courts have ruled that evidence given supports their ruling which has been that the tube could be removed.

The US Supreme Court has also agreed with the Florida courts.

Breaking news right now the tube has been removed.

Edit to add AP update

Yet efforts are now underway in congress to have it re-inserted. This is according MSNBC.
