By telling people the can't control other people's lives and invade privacy to make sure their gender matches their genitals? That's not being a dictator. That is standing up for people who don't deserve this treatment.

Oh, great so you guys get your privacy, but for the rest of us, we lose our own privacy.

It was great for me, as a woman, to think I could count on having my privacy in a changing room at the gym, but those days are gone because now any man who feels like a woman that day can come right on in and change there with me because his privacy is far more important than mine.

Any man before would have just barged right on in. What stopped them? The changing rooms are usually monitored and any failure in security lies with the associate on duty.

What makes this day and age different from the past? There were transgender people who used restrooms and dressing rooms then but all of the sudden it is now an issue. Why, pray tell?

Yet transgender people still used the restroom in peace. You failed to answer why it is now a sudden issue? After years of peace, now that being transgender is more open, people get all disgusted by their presence.

Another question, who will be the potty police and violate everyone's privacy to check genitals? Who will barge down a stall door to make sure that pair of legs really is the proper gender?

This day and age was more open minded toward everyone, now violating the privacy of others is being tossed around as a good idea.

These days, when he comes right on in, if someone protests that person can be kicked out of the gym for being a hateful bigot.

Did it ever occur to you that sometimes in order to preserve everyone's privacy, some things should be kept, erm, private? And that in this new era of openness, you've violated that very thing -- everyone's privacy by making sure everyone's face is rubbed in that new openness instead of keeping that certain thing in the private spaces where it was better off?

Now we all know the truth -- most people are not actually comfortable with it.

How is your privacy violated? Because a community of people decided to come out? The ones who cry out the loudest are the ones who harbor the most negativity towards the transgender community. No privacy has been lost. Yet a group of people that wants nothing more than to live their lives is being targeted out of absolutely no where and accused of being perverts. Unless you look at their privates, and vice versa, privacy is still maintained.

Have you ever researched the struggles women went through in order to win the privilege of their own sex-segregated bathrooms and changing facilities in the first place?

There are some places in the world where women don't have them even today, and it's actually a major campaign at the UN trying to win those women access to their own safe, sanitary private restroom and changing facilities.

And here we are ... we've ceded our own expectation of having the same such that any man who claims he feels that day like a women may now use the women's restroom or changing room.

Have you researched the struggles of the transgender community? Did you know there are still transgender people who are being murdered in the United States?

There are places where even being considered transgender is punishable by death. And the bathroom issue is not even able to be brought up.

The way you talk about what you imagine a transgender person being like shows you have no understanding about them. They are a wonderful group of people that are suddenly being demonized because they stood their ground and came out to the world. You should be ashamed.
