Elizabeth Warren releases DNA results to prove she is partially Native American

She really wouldn't let go of this one. But let it be known everyone, she is 10 times less white than a Caucasian person in Utah. #news.

Is it really Elizabeth Warren who won't let it go or is it Donald Trump who to this day at campaign rallies calls her "Pocahontas" ? (speaking of # people can't let go, has anyone ever started actively campaigning for a second term right after getting elected to the first?)

What she should have done was sent her driver to Dr. Feelgood and demanded he write a letter saying she has the "most excellent" Native American DNA he's ever seen.

Anyway, she's clearly trying to shut him up in anticipation for a presidential run.

I elaborate on OP here.

Obviously Trump antagonized this whole thing. But lately, our political climate has shown that anything in your past will come up as a politician, certainly some more petty than others.

I can't argue it looks like she has had indicators she is looking for a 2020 run, here's a thread I did about her trying to bring out an anti-corruption bill. I haven't seen that get any traction recently, so maybe she is doing some appeasing ahead of time so she can bring them up when she lays out her platform.

Doesn't this mean Trump owes her $1 million? I'm pretty sure he said he'd pay her a million if she proved she was Native American through a DNA test.

I was going to predict something along the lines of him saying "she's not Indian enough".

He could have turned this around to work in his favor, donating a cool mil (which if we go off of his self proclaimed wealth is nothing).

This makes me African and eligible for numerous social programs designed to help cultivate education, leadership and opportunity in the African American community that might otherwise not exist. Exciting times!!

Of course, I’m white as white. But my super, great, ultra, primitive ancestors originated from Africa some millions of years ago. So...there you have. The proof is in the pudding and the precedent has been set!

Also, Dawes Rolls were finalized in like the late 1890s and only include folks from certain tribes who were in the Indian territories at the time. And of course they're notoriously inaccurate.

Warren was born in like 1950. Is she claiming a Cherokee grandmother? Six generations back would be 4th great-grandparent. Average generation is usually calculated as 25 years. So we're talking 1800.

You get YOUR facts straight! I said, this was drudged up from some form Warren filled out some 25 years ago. Trump and his followers raised this from the dead, in order to mock and degrade Warren for her family tree and cultural history.

Yea...I'm sure he will find a way somehow, but he can't/shouldn't get away with this one. Put up or shut up. "I never said that." So, does that mean he's senile? I want someone to play that video for him, and then ask him what he thinks.

I am not sure what she is trying to prove. We have African American Citizens in our tribe. They were called the freedmen. It is culture and origin not blood quantum in my mind.

In most Native American tribes ranges from 1/8 (12.5 percent) to 1/2 (50 percent). Some tribes have a requirement of 1/16 (six percent). No proof of her claim to be part Cherokee.

The whole political climate has been batsh** crazy for some time now... Seeing as it's unlikely to change, I'm going to at least laugh at it. I suggest you do the same.
