Alcohol doesn't matter....no means NO.
Didn't you tell us that when you were in a band that you had drunk groupies all over you?
Taking advantage of drunk ladies was okay then, right?
Well when you are musician at the club and everyone is getting drunk grooming the young gals is perfectly acceptable! /extreme sarcasm

You know what?
You get young people and alcohol together and stuff happens. You act like only one person in this equation drinks. Only the woman drinks and can't control herself as a result. Did you ever stop to think that at a party, everyone consumes alcohol, and no one there is likely in very good control of themselves?
That doesn't absolve anyone of bad behavior, but if we are going to let the woman off the hook because she was too drunk to know better, you can't then turn around expect a drunk man to be able to always be in control of his actions perfectly as though 100% sober.
What is the legal blood alcohol limit for driving? What do you want to bet that both parties in many of these situations are well beyond it, and if we think they're too compromised to drive responsibly why on earth are you acting like both of them are batting 1,000 in the sensible decision making department too?
If you actually read and understood by post - I mentioned both men and women doing stupid S.... You are perceiving what you want to perceive and not what was actually there.
Except for some reason, you act like boys should be able to perfectly well control themselves while girls roll around like drunken pieces of meat passed out on the floor?
I submit that the real truth lies in the middle with the onus of responsibility for what happens resting on both parties. If she's too drunk to control her body entirely and not in trusted circumstances, she has some responsibility for having put herself in those circumstances. And even a normally controlled man might have trouble when drunk and tempted with a passed out chick. It's a recipe for disaster, and young people shouldn't put themselves in those situations in the first place.
But you can't act like all the guilt rests on one or the other when both made a series of choices that set the table for the disaster to happen.

Generally - men get away with their 'boys will be boys' behavior. And women get blamed for not just their part but for the 'boys' part as well.

Why are women not believed when sexual assault or harassment are on the public table?
Why? What do you think?
Some facts to consider before responding:
Campus Sexual assault
One in 5 women and one in 16 men are sexually assaulted while in college
More than 90% of sexual assault victims on college campuses do not report the assault
63.3% of men at one university who self-reported acts qualifying as rape or attempted rape admitted to committing repeat rapes
Crime reports
Rape is the most under-reported crime; 63% of sexual assaults are not reported to police
The prevalence of false reporting is between 2% and 10%. ===== For example, a study of eight U.S. communities, which included 2,059 cases of sexual assault, found a 7.1% rate of false reports (k). A study of 136 sexual assault cases in Boston found a 5.9% rate of false reports (j). Researchers studied 812 reports of sexual assault from 2000-03 and found a 2.1% rate of false reports.

Do you seriously believe that most women would subject themselves to public ridicule to sabotage a man?
