They want him to testify first so that they can build their narrative around what he says. And how convenient then that he wont have the chance to rebut because she gets the last word. This cements her allegation into the public conciousness because its the last testimony they hear.

They can agree to all the demands EXCEPT him testifying first.

Him going first is the pivot point of the whole thing. Shes the accuser, how can he testify before he knows the accusations? Madness. It's her that should testify first.

My guess is that they won't agree to that and she and her lawyer will use that to delay some more and tweak the heartstrings of the useful idiots.

I thought I made it clear that I was challenging the poster's assertion that she is lying. Personally, I have no friggen idea whether or not she is telling the truth, but I'm not about to pull definitive statements out of me arse and wave them around because they suit my politics.

This is the mindset that this sort of thing sows: Mysogeny.
And who can blame men for feeling this way toward women when you have women...hell, we have entire political parties willing to weaponize false claims of sexual assault and domestic violence against them?
This is the long term damage that is being caused by this.
Right now, I truly fear for the future of this country and our children who will have to suffer from the disfunction of today.

Speaking of stunts: If the optics on this being a political stunt, won’t that hurt Dems in their bid to take Senate seats in November? Awful big hat to hang on Ford’s shoulders. Considering Trump does have the legal power to call the Senate back into session when they recess for election campaigning since having an open SC seat is an extraordinary circumstance and he could give another name for nomination tomorrow if he had to do so, if Kavanaugh was rejected.

I really really hope you don't mean this. The overwhelming majority of women never ever even consider making false accusations. And false accusations of all kinds are made by men and women. So there is nothing inherent in being female that compels false accusations. So there's no good reason for misogyny here.

But if you do really blame the female gender itself, then I guess you answer your own question: Yes, women can be misogynistss.
