but maybe she was sexually assaulted. happens all the time. it seems you guys don't like women to stand up and fight against all these arseholes around the globe. ats is getting more and more a forum for hate and frustration.

She's had 36 (Thirty Six) years to tell this story. She needs to crawl back under the rock from whence she came.

are you god? do you know every time why people act the way they do? my grandfather never spoke about the war, no single time. maybe he wasn't a soldier and was hiding in a bunker? maybe he felt ashamed and wants to forget. i had my trauma as a youngster, i remember the scene, the lights, but i don't know if it was 1979 or 1980 and if it was atumn or summer but i know what happened. we are all human beings no robots.

Whatever. If it was that significant on your life, you wouldn't forget something like the year. Summer or Fall, maybe, but not the year. Sorry.

maybe it was about time because things are changing these days and more and more women coming out with their stories.
i believe her, but maybe i'm wrong. we will see.

Simple question. What makes you think she's telling the truth?

Are we taking bets on what details she suddenly remembers in a breakthrough counseling session before next week's appearance?

I got a fiver that says she will remember what his member looks like and then she gets that sweet, sweet book deal

Ford has done, for victims of sexual assault, what ISIS has done for Middle East peace.

I mean, Kavanaugh is already deemed guilty and there hasn't even been a day, date, or year that has been specified.

Just a smear tactic that politicians used.

It's ugly.

But the biggest insult should be to every true victim of sexual assault that now may be marginalized because leftists used it as a political tool.

She told this story (kind of) back in 2012, but my issue is why didn't she pursue it more so at the time?

There is a story that's beginning to get floated around that at the time she was a bit of a "Party Girl". Alcohol, drugs, and reckless behaviors was kind of her thing. One of the stories getting passed around is that she still is too, but she also is known for having a pretty big mean streak, and that she is using this whole event as her way of punishing the Kavanaugh's over that ruling his mother did back in the 90's. I could get into the other plausible narrative that getting handed around to, but it's more off topic for this thread.

Does this have more to do with Katz and the people she works for, or does it have to do with a person trying to seek revenge for events that happened years ago (be it either this groping charge, or the court ruling)?

You know what this is like? It's the Day care sexual abuse scandal from the 1980's. This time though it involves adults instead of kids, but it's all part of that crappos from the 1980's. Instead of pictures of tree's, it's the #metoo tag.

No brandy glass of M&M’s with all the brown ones removed in her dressing room?

She needs to work on the rockstar thing.

Hey...you're right. When DEMOCRAT MEN assault a women, Democrat leadership approves of it!

They didn't come after Bill Clinton in the 90's, or DNC co-chair Keith Ellison this year. I hear there are even tapes and sworn affidavids against Ellison for beating the crap out of a woman...twice.

They approved it so much that they ousted a sitting senator over far less then what Kavanaugh has been accused of and without an investigation.

By the way Ellison is not being accused of anything like sexual assault. Nice job spreading false rumors. Not that I think you care.

Yes he said what Ellison was accused of, beating a woman

Does it bother you that the Dems aren’t interested in hearing that woman’s story according to her?

He will likely lose because of it. I would assume that the dems leaders are not going along with her right now because she claims to have video evidence that proves or disproves the allegations but is holding it back.

Oh!

Well that’s the standard huh?

So if an accuser is “holding back” then we don’t have to hear them out?

I thought we were all against people who claim to have evidence but will not release it. It makes things very different.

You mean like a woman that won’t testify about her allegations unless ridiculous demands are met?

Should we be against that too?

Well his position has the possibility to rise to the highest it can now, and even in 2012 I think it was still well past the statute of limitations.

In order to believe Ford, you'd have to believe Kavanaugh is lying.

And there is no proof that Kavanaugh is lying.

The veracity of Ford's accusations, however, indicate that there is a political motivation.

From a Twitter post by Yashar Ali quoted at Townhall:

A senior Senate staffer tells me that both of these are non-starters.

1. Kavanaugh will testify after Ford so that he can respond to her accusations the staffer told me

2. They will not allow witnesses to dictate who does/doesn't get subpoenaed.

Will she negotiate? Acquiesce? Refuse to testify at all? We'll see...

Do you know if Christine told her Mom or Dad of this traumatic event when it happened, or at any time thereafter?

All I've heard of is her 2012 therapist being told, before a CA. Congresswomen, who relayed this to Diane Feinstein.

She has specifically and unequivocally stated that she told no one but her therapist.

I saw that video all those women made where they read the same words aloud, words that didn't come from their hearts or minds but instead a mass email message, and got more and more disgusted by their behavior. I'd be willing to bet that not one of them had ever been sexually assaulted. By the looks of many of them, I KNOW they hadn't been. Not by a man anyways. For them to have the audacity to pretend to pity a woman full of unknowns and unproven accusations really tells us where we are today.

You believe her but NOT the hundreds of women that side with Kavanaugh? Interesting.

If Kavanaugh did what she claims there would be many women coming out with storys of him being inappropriate or harassing in the workplace. Guys like that (who do what she alleges) dont do it one time and then lead sterling and honorable lives.

The fact that not one woman that has worked with or known Kav has corroborated her allegations of him being a deviant is very telling.

Why do you believe her but not the hundreds of women willing to testify (dozens already have under oath) to Kavs character and moral standing?

That's s question you should think long and hard about imo.

I don't think it was anything that effected her. Not then and not now. It's a ploy to block a person that was chosen by Donald Trump because they hate Donald Trump. Nothing more. Did she really tell a therapist in 2012? Did she mention Kavanaugh's name? Because the way I understand it, a girl who knows Feinstein who knows Ford said she knows someone who was sexually assaulted by K in 1982. And how was she sexually assaulted? Because these days a girl will claim sexual assault if you brush against her in passing and she doesn't like you.

Women needed a voice, they got that voice, and now they're going overboard on taking advantage of their gender. # like this is simply out of hand.
