Feinsteins current line of question dealing with Roe vs Wade goes hand in hand with the documents that were leaked.

Imagine that.

Were they in Chinese?

The document leak was a lie. The files were already cleared to be released. Once again democrats lie and grandstand.

It’s cute to read all the complaining towards Democrats.

But to remind all of you this happens during every administration R and D. Nothing has changed. This is to be expected guys and gals. Move along

honest question, if the R's have the votes to confirm, and they all plan to vote yes, then why not just close the hearings, and confirm him, and tell the cry babies to fluck themselves? It seems this is all for show.

That’s what I’m wondering, confirm and wait for Ginsburg to quit.

Not quite.

I cant ever remember Republicans ever behaving in the manner Democrats did for these hearings.

But why worry about facts when they dont work in your favor right?

Because Democrats would throw a fit like no other. Second the committee has to vote him out of committee so the whole senate can vote on his nomination.

Democrats have thrown a temper tantrum to block these hearings. Once out of committee I look for them to do the same in the Senate as a whole.

You don’t remember Republicans being the party of “NO”? That was fairly recent was it not? How is saying that and doing so any different than now? Or is just bashing another party your thing? On my side it just seems that you get off on bashing but hey....who am I right.

Oops. I posted this in the Day 2 thread, but it should have been posted here:

Uh oh...Corey Booker has pulled what he called "his Spartacus moment" and in defiance of Senate rules, has gone and released some 12 pages of emails marked "committee confidential" to the public. He said he is "knowingly" violating the Senate rules. www.foxnews.com...

I just realized something. The dims won’t stop this eighth grade behavior. They have doubled down too many times.
They won’t ever be like they used to be again. This is the new mentality of the dims. We are competing against 8th graders. The conservative in my is happy but the American in me is sad.

I read earlier that it was a complete grandstanding moment as the emails had already been cleared to be released.
I have not looked into to see if that's valid. Not able to look it up right now.

Were they really classified, or was he grandstanding and released non classified docs (as stated above)?

I just want to reiterate that my statement was purely speculative and I am unable to back it up at this moment.
If anyone else wants to dig and track it down, I would appreciate it.

Booker and his confidential leak was grandstanding and a lie. The documents he "leaked" were already cleared for public release.

Sen. Cornyn - R tweeted out they were cleared. He is on the committee.

Yep! Grandstanding!

Booker, in typical form, wants to appear to be "Spartacus" (hahaha)....In other words, he's auditioning for a part, and we all know what part that is. This will appeal to his leftwing base.

It seems that with Mike Lee's help last night, these emails were cleared.

What a drama "queen" Booker is. Ugh.

anyway....he still showed intent to release classified information...so he should still be censured.

Three cheers for Sen. Booker.
It's bloody past time that some senator somewhere showed some spine. The US voting public, as members of the Board Of Directors of the US Senate, have the right to know all the details of the legal history of any court nominee, especially SCOTUS.

The GOP has obvious reasons to try to hide this information. It is good that Booker revealed it. Kavanaugh should NOT be confirmed (for many reasons, not just this).

Totally agree.

But, among the Democrat Party, moving as far to the left as possible has become fashionable. Civil disobedience has become fashionable. Being against the Rule of Law has become fashionable. This appeals to a particular segment. Booker's constituents aren't going to look any further than that, and will praise him for being "Spartacus". High drama for the ignorant.
