Not through the whole thread yet, but the points I'm reading now about censorship and net neutrality make me wonder if you all are aware that you are having this conversation on a privately owned website, which has restrictions of its own. It's fine for the members of this site, or they leave or are banned.

Facebook is bigger, but it's still the same idea. Some sources are not allowed here. Some conversations are not acceptable.
That's what keeps it civilized. Seems to me that anyone on this board would appreciate that the riff-raff and trolls are filtered out.

Just wondering how AJ getting banned from FB is unacceptable; if he's offensive enough to the board owners, they can block him. It's their right. He can shut up and behave, or he can go home and turn his broadcast knob up to 11. The people I worry about are the farmers out in the high plains who have nothing else to listen to except stock futures and commodities and God radio.

As far as they are concerned, AJ is the truth.

True censorship would be eliminating his website and any other attempts at making one.

I just switched on his radio show - it was pretty easy to find on Tune In so he's not shut off completely.
Quite amusing at the moment though, he's not happy... going on about hell at the moment

NO! Repealing or allowing net neutrality has nothing to do with blocking websites.
Net neutrality is for the ISP's not to throttle access to content or provide fast lanes to websites to pay ISPs to send their content quicker.

Thats because you don't see the whole picture , understand it, or willingly not seeing it. Repealing Net neutrality was not only about bandwidth restriction or pay to play it was also about censorship. Their is no exclusion or legislation created that states that the Telecom can't restrict bandwidth to such a point that in essence shuts the site down , nor any exclusions that prevent protocol restrictions.

It has NOTHING to do with Facebook allowing or not allowing certain content on their website. They have ALWAYS been able to do that. It's called a EULA or end user license agreement or they have something like a T&S like ATS. You literally have no clue what you are talking about.

I never claimed that NN had anything todo with FB blocking their content.

What I'm telling you is that you are either a hypocrite or a blind party loyalist based on your stance on NN versus your stance on content blocking by fb.

They are both a form of censorship by private corporations.
