Youtube have now also permanently banned his channel.
Personally, I think these platforms can allow or not allow what they want.
I am, however, somewhat suspicious of the coordination here.

Google owns YouTube. That's where I have a problem really. These massive companies picking what is appropriate for grown adults and the weak argument to use a different platform like Google and Apple don't own everything already.

Capitalism hurts sometimes when they exercise their rights in in a free market system. Dissatisfied with the system, start your own like Alex did on public access Austin. Or buy some stock in Apple and stop this crybaby BS.

en.wikipedia.org...

Or would you rather have state controlled internet like China.

Free speech vs Free markets.

Only one is subsidized by the U.S. government (..that would be taxpayers).

This also applies to Amazon and Google.

It's a rigged game that AJ doesn't have the clout to play and whether you believe him or not is completely irrelevant.

...yet. But they can refer their so-called definition of hate speech to the law to get people taken away. That is next.

So what? It is Apple's service. It is Apple's EULA. They can kick you off their product for whatever they feel like and it is 100% Constitutional no matter how you or I feel about the decision. And no it isn't fascism. It is 100% capitalism.

It is not about InfoWars. It is about the action that took place. Do NONE of you defending YouTube see the issue?

Corporations deciding what is right...and wrong...for other to do and produce. This is not simply banning some videos. It is about deciding if what a person is doing is wrong.

Alex Jones is not hurting anyone with his videos.
Alex Jones is not promoting hate.

Yet, the 3 largest social/online media/tech organizations have banned him.

I can access Youtube right now and it is amazing all of the HATE I can find. Sane with Facebook.

A precedent and a slippery slope for sure...

The double standard which you touch on is undoubtedly a problem.

I see a free market company making its own decision

Which ia what us conervatives are suppose to support and always do.
And now because its someone they like they don't support it....

Its hypocrisy

Do you see it's NOT a FREE MARKET!?? if they pick and choose who to censor based upon their agenda?

At what point does a private company become a monopoly over the majority of free speech.

Free speech doesn't cover hate speech and companies have a right to not allow it....

Welcome to the united states, capitalism, and freedom cupcake
Please, define "hate speech". I'm honestly asking.

sounds like you want legislation passed that makes the internet a right.

the only way you can force companies to provide hosting, or provide bandwidth, is by making it a right. Or by regulating it as a utility. Which will bring costs affiliated with the bloat that regulates.

The Internet was created and expanded with net neutrality principles from its inception and it brought no extra cost. The only legislation I want is to keep net neutrality principles active that lead to the success of the Internet.

The Internet is not a commodity its a market place and just like a free capitalist society their shouldn't be any one entity or oligarch in the middle with full control to decide who the winners and losers are.

Ironically enough its republican principles at heart and yet republicans were tricked into making the Internet a socialist utopia by repealing net neutrality principles and giving control to the telecom , so that one entity can chose who wins and who loses. Kind of like the republicans where tricked into going commie and using tax payers money to bailout the companies to big to fail.

Bye bye youtube. I liked it but it's time to boycott them and finally have better platforms. I think I'll keep my account for occasional trolling. We needed this spark people. Divorce is not a pleasant thing but sometimes it's better. Like when your spouse turns to be a fake liberal bitch sleeping with your enemy...or a best friend, whatever.

How is going to do that, AJ youtube has been chopped off by corporate terrorist.

Anyone who defends or support these mega tech giants probably have no American values.

This simply is not true. They can not kick you off for whatever they want. No private company has the right to withhold service for any reason they desire. In this case, however, Apple is within the law as there is no specific law to protect someone like Jones, but as an example, Apple could not kick off a company because the CEO was black. Just like a restaurant can't refuse service to someone because of skin colour.

The problem we have here is that these companies are banning based on 'violating community guidelines', but there is no real clear definition of why they did it. That is a slippery slope. There are plenty of pages on, say, Youtube, that have far worse content.

Okay, I'll quote you this post when you get censored for your views. Or I'll send Whoopi Goldberg to kick your butt.

Quite a loose interpretation you got considering we live in 2018 where term nazi is thrown out like candy.

What does that have to do with anything? Sounds like you are just bitter about conceding a point when you say nonsense statements like this. The term nazi being misused doesn't justify you trying to change the definition of the word to suit the bad narrative you are pushing. Either admit you were wrong or quietly concede that point and move on. The Nazi angle is a BAD angle.

Just stay consistent and I'd agree with you.

I'm not exactly seeking your approval or agreement. So whatevs to this.

OK. You got me Google and Apple isn't a government. Although they have more influence and funds then a lot of countries and control our information entertainment and daily news. Now just close your eyes and endorse the animal farm
