France doesn't speak German and Germany doesn't speak French what's your point? Germany are very friendly with the USA there's airbases in Germany.

France and Germany are the only countries that ever mounted serious invasions on Russia. France under Napoleon and Germany under Hitler. America never fought Russia. France and Germany scoff Americans cowards.

Haha awesome.

I mean, there's probably not a lot of love lost between "Mutti" and "the Don", this is a pretty ridiculous take on world politics at the moment. Besides, why would we need to fight a country with a GDP smaller than Italy to prove our mettle to Germany and France (who lean on Gazprom for energy supplies-- in the winter)? I'm sure they'd appreciate us opening up a shooting war for kicks and giggles. Greece could probably successfully invade Germany right now; doubt they're rearing to go up against the Red menace, such as it is. I'm going out on a limb and saying a big shooting match in Europe isn't what France and Germany are looking for from America.

What are you talking about? Most of Russia's wealth is untapped in the ground. GDP alone is not a good indicator of wealth.

Hey I think you are exactly right about SpeedFanatic working for aomeone. He blew me up with PMs after I reported my Brilliant Buzzard-type sighting and was really curious about my acquaintance’s VSTOL stealth signting.
I connected the dots when poking around on the Area 51 forum - you are exactly right. He/she has zero interest in Brit or Chinese or cough cough Russian sightings/projects. He did send me a pic of this:

pbs.twimg.com...

And asked if my sighting looked like that. Guessing that is a Senior Citizen - can’t imagine too many fast movers tooling around at 1000 feet all lit up. Guess I was nieve to think he was a fellow plane buff. The Internet these days...

I was responding to Anzha’s post:

“He's PMed me many, many times. However, that's not so much the issue, but rather I'm deeply curious why he is so fixated on certain fastmovers rather than all fastmovers.

They are always of a certain time frame.

They are always American.

Chinese or more recent American ones don't tickle his fancy at all.

Based on his reactions, I'd swear it was an assignment for a job.

I must be wrong, so I thought I'd ask.”

I think Anzha is right...

haha, so are you saying everyone who love planes and making his conclusions and researches is a spy? That style of thinking makes me laugh! Yes, I prefer to ask in PMs instead of doing it on an open board, just because of security reasons. I talked with many people to gain some knowledge to make own conclusions. I believe it's better to do it like I used to do, than, blabbing on the net about someone and pronounce about someone like about spy...

Why should I ask about Chineese while this is not what I'm interest in?

Sometimes I think we going backwards...

is someone has a concern they should prioably talk to the mods of the area in question, and there is nothing wrong with that.

however posting PM's is not cool, and might be against the rules.

I hope i never send the wrong person a message with the wrong subject matter…

I’m very much for not accusing anyone of anything without being able to proof it, or at least knowing the member in question.
And dont get paranoid.

Why so many lights? You would have thought that a stealthy experimental aircraft would be less lit up.

Nobody is reposting specific PMs... only describing a trend in questioning.

Whatever is in that photo is ridiculously lit up. IMO it wanted to be photographed, didn’t want to get hit by another aircraft, or it’s a hoax of some sort.

More microlight than plane IMHO. If it was a plane it would have the conventional navigation lights.

Anyway, the point is that there have been (and probably are) experimental aircraft buzzing around in UK skies. The UK has been doing work in this field for at least the last two to three decades, including working as a level 1 partner with the US on the F35. The UK would not have been able to have such an involvement if they were not bringing anything to the F35 party.

The question on Tempest is what international partners can actually bring expertise into the programme, in addition to cash? Japan yes. US yes. This is the problem the competitor European programme has - both the French and the German don't have 5th generation experience so they will be starting from a place further behind.

This is a way to gain knowledge. I don't know why you decided to attack me as I never mentioned publicly on ATS about any of the things you could told me so what's your problem? What's more you described, publicly, your sighting of the, as you called it, Brilliant Buzzard. LITERALLY, you may saw something what is undisclosed yet so why post about it? In the way of your thinking, another person would call you a spy, like you said about me.

About releasing classified info. You chose to describe me as a spy. I'm one of aircraft enthusiasts and I never signed any NDAs. Now, you publicly admitted about your friend's sighting at Wright Patterson. Isn't it espionage in your eyes? Your friend signed NDA about it, so he wouldn't tell a single word about it but he decided to do so. Why you don't accuse him of being a spy? Why you decided to post about it while you know there are plenty of people who read those threads and you could betray your source because of it? I believe there is not too many people who saw the bird your friend saw so right people would call him and ask about things he disclosed to someone else.

If my behavior isn't right, then, you behavior isn't right as well...

People are here because they love military aviation and things related to it. This is why we have so many hints. There are members who said a lot more and guess, some of them are high placed, so why you don't attack them?

Focus on yourself and consider your manners insted of telling unfounded myths about someone...

How exactly did you think people would react when every time they post something interesting they get a week of PMs asking the same questions??

The same questions? Sorry, don't know what you are alluding to. Do you think someone who "works for someone else" would ask many questions about something? That's the way he would discreed himself. I've asked many questions and many of them never got any kind of answer. Why Astr0 gave us so much fun on here? Many people would accuse him of espionage but no one ever did. The reason is very simple, everyone likes hear incredible stories because this is why we are here on this forum so why attack a source who seems to be well informed and share amazing things from time to time, like Astr0?

You know exactly what I'm talking about. You've asked me the exact same question, word for word, off and on for the last year. And yes, someone working for someone would. We've seen exactly that here on this forum.

The problem isn't asking for information, it's how you ask for information. If you ask a question, and don't get an answer you ask it over and over, instead of realizing that if they didn't answer it once, they're not going to answer it after the 10th time. Badgering is a lousy way to get information.

Maybe it was just far fetched story telling and not espionage at all. If any of it was true I'm sure it would've been deleted straight away?! Like Zaph had said numerous times about TR3B why would any of it be online if true?

Ok, I agree. I used to ask the same questions sometimes, I agree. But look at it from different perspective. If I send you a question, then, it means I expect some kind of an answer and even "Don't ask, don't tell" would be better than nothing. Ignoring is the worst thing in my eyes.
