At this point in the game, the "slow burn" method against the Deep State has a number of advantages.

Every time a "protest" erupts, the media flock to hold it up as "resistance" against Trump. Problem being the footage usually makes them look like azz. Also when the fake aspects of the news coverage is revealed, "normies" cower in disgust. Maybe not everyone reaches for the Red Pill all at once, but it seems like conversion happens exponentially.....at least it WILL.

There's lots of tactical and strategic advantages in taking things slowly too. Since we agree the material Q holds is too vast for people to take it in all at once, the technique of dripping it out, like Wikileaks did, it works like a tutorial.

The pressure builds from bottom to top in this case. Taking out the big targets would leave lots of support for their cause, which would be an unstable condition. Probably this is how the Cabal intended to fight, on the streets....so to speak. Now, the legs are kicked out from under the leaders. Not only do they embarrass their cause on a daily basis, the physical support from mid and lower level operatives in minimized. Take the Strokeman, for instance. His personal power has diminished greatly over the last year. Also Hollyweirdos don't have the clout they did in the past. Same for an Obama. If someone could graph it, the pros vs cons, we would see a large scale downhill slide for the Cabalists.
