Whales and dolphins aren't fish. They're mammals. And yes they are more aware than fish. Hell, they may be more aware than us. We can't communicate with them but if we could maybe we'd learn something about the universe.

Exactly that is my point. We know they are not fish. But do they?
Same as we. We know or we think we are humans (that is what we call us). But what are we really?

Same happens with the universe as we know it or we think we know. Awareness is key.

A fish, does it know is swimming on water or just think is moving on nothing?

Yeah but a fish is barely aware. It is of it's immediate surroundings but that's it.

Are you aware of anything that is not in your direct experience?

Tricky question. What does my "experience" entail? My readings on the universe? What I can imagine?

Thoughts, sensations, colour, sound.
If you imagine a house - it is appearing in your awareness.
Can anything appear outside awareness?

Then I would have to say "yes" to your question.

How would you know?
What makes you so sure?

Why would the answer have to be 'yes'?

I told you...imagination. I may not understand the makings of the universe but I've had friends in the past, only one now, that did/does.

If you imagine a unicorn..............where would that unicorn appear? Surely you would have to be aware of that imagined unicorn. The unicorn would be appearing in awareness.

You lost me. How does that relate to...

I haven't experienced the cow nebula but in the vastness of space there's probably one.

You are aware of what ever is appearing - even if it is words telling stories about things that may or may not exist.

You are aware of the story of the 'big bang' but all you will ever know (be aware of) is what is appearing to happen presently.

Aren't we also talking about a hyper space with membranes floating and sometimes touching each other. Creating a Big Bang. So if that's so than I would ask what's behind hyper space. Ahhh now I get brain pain I have to get some food and drinks and let this sinc in. 😎😂😎

Yes, anything can appear outside awareness. As soon as I gave though to something that something come into existence. The mind is something more than just abstract thinking. When you think your brain creates an electrical impulse and that creates an image, but as soon as you stop thinking, it does not mean that that electrical impulse disappear, it stays there until it is recalled again.
But what happen in between we do not know for sure, but you created something and once created it can not be undone. You can change it but can not destroy that newly created electrical impulse.

You don't think - there is no you doing thinking.
This is where the idea of things arise - there is no thinker of thought.
Thoughts appear and disappear in awareness.

Who is the thinker then?

What is making this thoughts I have to appear?

I am making my thoughts to appear, but most of the people is unaware that they are doing it. I also recognize that I cannot control some of my thinking, but I'm aware they come from me.

Nothing is making thought appear - it is simply just happening, just as everything is.

I am making my thoughts to appear, but most of the people is unaware that they are doing it.

Is it possible to know what thought will appear next - before it appears?
You can only know it when it appears.

I also recognize that I cannot control some of my thinking, but I'm aware they come from me.

They arise in you and subside in you but thought can never speak about you.

Oh yes there is I am the thinker, and I am thought both at the same time.

Nothing is making thought appear - it is simply just happening, just as everything is.

It does not just happen, I control them. It is in me.

Is it possible to know what thought will appear next - before it appears?
You can only know it when it appears.

It is possible with proper training and a lot of practice. And once you realize the incredible power within yourself, silence is your best allied.

They arise in you and subside in you but thought can never speak about you.

Yes they can speak about you.
Don't worry, it only speaks good about you.

Ummm...how do you...know...it's you making these thoughts appear...

If the universe is indeed hologrammatic...then perhaps it's something...other...that makes you think that you think...

That's why I have no faith in singularity as per AI...executing autonomous programming...is still programming...programmed sentience does not self awareness make...

Now I'm going to cross a line for a bit and then back the other side again. I don't want to mess the purpose of the thread,
In the bible (I'm using the bible just for reference to be able to answer your doubt), it says that God created man in His image and likeness.
God created us sentient beings ( notice the use of sentient to imply that it not just for us humans and it may apply to all inteligent lifeform) with the ability to learn and apply the learned material.
So since birth we are in this input/output proccess that make us what we are.
During that proccess some of you learned and get aware that there is something else going on. You may call it spirituality or other dimensions, realms, whatever you like it.
Most of those things are within our reach becuase we are part of it. Is in us already. But most do not understand.

And why some people says we are preprogrammed? Because each of our cells are living beings too. But they do not know it. They have their own thinking but are limited. But since we have those little minds in ourselves we can access them and grap their knowleege.

Just imagine the universe as a living creature and we are the cells.

It is quite hard to explain. There is nothing better than having the experience of "seeing" it.
That is why I'm one step closer to a mental hospital.
