Could be mate.

But that's metaphysics and philosophy, not actual physics and science.

The problem lies with attempting to reconcile the two ideologies when there are so diametrically opposed to one another.

One requiring faith and belief and the other evidence and repeatable results.

Except they're not. They all involve transmission of information. And something like an idea you cook up in your head has energy which as far as we know so far is not limited by spacetime. It works interdimensionally.

That's why every few years the universe gets older. You could say that it's because our measurements or theories are getting better so we can more accurately determine the age of the universe. Or... could it be that merely imagining and creating new theories about how the universe could be older actually makes the universe older?

So before the Big Bang there was... Stephen Hawking.

"Except they're not."

Physics is the study of matter. It deals with what matter is and how it reacts with heat, light, electricity, and sound. It also studies matter’s motion through space and time, in addition to studying related forces such as energy and force.

Metaphysics includes the study of theology, ontology and cosmology. Theology is the study of the western God as well as religion and spirituality. Ontology is the study of being and the nature of reality, and how they are related to each other, the study of how we know what we know.

They are very different kettles of fish really.

"Yes they are They all involve transmission of information. And something like an idea you cook up in your head has energy which as far as we know so far is not limited by spacetime. It works interdimensionally."

How do we know energy is not limited by "spacetime"?

The speed of light is limited/defined by space-time and light is indeed a form of radiation/energy.

"So before the Big Bang there was... Stephen Hawking."

Don't matter what was before the current iteration of our universe as we can never measure or observe such. The question is philosophical and unanswerable by experimentation.

Before the Big Bang Creation Event….

there was only the 3rd Heaven which incorporated the Abode and Throne of 'God' along with the Place/Abode/Home for the Heirarchy of Spiritual Entities we know of As The Host or Legions of Angels

the Material universe was created to Transform all Lifeless physical matter into Organic Material...
Consciousness crosses all Dimensional barriers and pre-existed in the eternal Heaven of God

Easy. Try to measure it. A thought exists; it has structure and form, and is manifested as a real thing in our universe, yet it cannot be measured. That in itself is a clue to what's going on.
