Yes if we cant measure or quantify a thing it generally stands that we tend to ignore the thing.

Worse is come up with a diabolically stupid theory akin to comic book logic and pass it around the scientific community, who have no other option than to consider it

And what is somewhat frustrating is they have all of these invisible theories like quantum mechanics, multiple universes (even though the term universe comprises everything already), dark mater, dark energy, etc.....

They have all of these fields of theoretical mathematics that is so divorced from reality, it is more make-believe than most of the sci-fiction novels out there. At lease fictional literature provides a benefit and tries to tie into reality just a little bit. Most of those mainstream scientific disciplines don't even pretend anymore.

If you can't bring your theories and hypothesis into the real world, they are complete fiction. If you can't reduce it down so it is simple and explainable to the layman, you don't have truth in direct relation to this reality.

Just look at cern. They never got the results they are looking for. They had to completely revamp, thinking they didn't have enough energy. They will fail again with their theories that are bunk.

How long until mainstream starts to admit they are wrong? Probably not in my lifetime.

Smile and nod. It really tells a lot about them. You have to wonder why this subject material elicits such a strong reaction. Pages of pages of reaction.

Sometimes I go into the mainstream scientific threads and post a comment or two, just to give them a target. Like posting about the spiritual or electric universe theory. If they don't like it or rail against it, good for them. It should help them refine their thoughts and positions against heathens like me. I don't really get mad and try to use open mindedness to read through their replies. I dismiss mainstream science and academics because they are basically practicing religion at this point. I long to see the time when the material and spiritual science will finally meld, just like the royal society use to do before the philosophical scientists were purged in favor of the strict material.

"Are you asking me to prove a negative?"

Philosophically, In law, or from a statistical sense?

Because the concept of a null hypothesis is used differently.

There you go attempting to introduce derogatory interjections into what should be a meaningful debate.

Have you ever been tested? As it may be an idea considering the narcissism you have displayed in spades in this thread alone. x
You say you were an electrical engineer but you don’t know how to use the quote function on these boards?

Philosophically, In law, or from a statistical sense?
I don’t know, you’re the one asking me to prove a negative? It’s your question.

Pointing out that you should know better than to ask me to prove a negative is not a derogatory remark. It is pointing out that your grasp of logic should be much higher if you are actually an electrical engineer.

Apparently you've never studied the ability of human errors and typos... Human errors are strong, I guess you missed that through not paying attention in life.
I make typos all the time I’m not worried about it. Most of them are due to me using a voice to text function on my phone.

Then dont bash others for doing the same and I dont care for your excuse to why they happen.

Using the quote function is part of t&c. Neglecting to use it is not a typo. Will you please get back to the topic at hand?

And why do you care so much?
Do I really need to justify my curiosity to you?

Why am I curious? Because I would like to know. Maybe I’m interested in people who claim to have abilities that seem to defy our understandings. Maybe I want to find somebody who can help me be the first to explain it in scientific terms. Perhaps I just don’t like it when people tell lies to manipulate others into believing they are special. Either way you look at it, the only way to come to any valid confirmation of these abilities whether they be magic or physiological in someway, is to study them. It is to find people who are willing to come forward and present their claims for testing. Are you against that in someway? Do you think this isn’t worth studying? Do you think I should accept everyone’s claims at face value without something to back them up?

If logic does not escape you then display some and tell us your own idea of how we are all wrong and you are correct.

I don't know how to use the quote function, never been a problem before, and it's not me that says it that's the degree, they are not hard to get, just expensive. LoL

I'm also Dyslexic guess that means my degree is not worth the paper it's printed on. LoL

Logic??? Put it this way, you are pretty Boolean in the extreme. x

I cannot explain why it is that you believe that you have special powers. What I can do is test your claims.

You were literally admitting to trolling threads. You’re not just admitting it you’re bragging about it. Why should anybody take you seriously then?

What special powers do i have and when have i claimed anything of the sorts??? LoL

Which of my claims can you test, or even refute which would be a start?

This should be interesting.

Not trolling at all. What I compose, I fully believe in.

I just realize that to these 'scientists', they believe I am speaking falsely and I think that is funny.

Speaking falsely is probably against the rules of this reality.

How many people here are in favor of testing people’s claims?

So what do you think about the well documented scientific methods of Sheldrake and the results of those studies?

Do you claim to have some ability that others do not possess? Or maybe a heightened sensitivity that is useful to you someway?

Rupert sheldrake? You would have to be more specific. He makes a lot of claims.

We all have the ability. Some just choose to deny this ability and effectively shut off the response from the spiritual. I am very interested in how they choose to disguise these sensations. I wonder if it interferes with a person's ability to truly understand this reality?

I think it's pretty obvious why it elicits such a strong reaction

Also, we can't just dismiss mainstream science, if we did that we would become like them, just on the other tilt

I consider those opposed as being closed minded, if we dismiss main stream science we become ignorant and arrogant. Carefully consider and balance what we see and hear and then make a decision. Some scientists are sincere
As for theory, maybe string theory is right, I don't really know, it just sounds farcical and cartoonish. I can't dismiss the theory because I don't know,,don't pretend to know, we can't become woodcarvers and pretend we do know and dismiss it out of pure pigheadedness

Explain your methodology then?

After all, fairs fair.

And your qualification to judge nevermind any conclusion you may or may not reach, please.

After you supply those test away to your heart's content.

When you say abilities, do you mean controlled or random?
Again, just curious. : )
