Activists are organizing a nationwide protest on June 30 to demand the Trump administration reunite families, and end family separation and detention at the border.
The Families Belong Together march is planned for Washington, DC, in Lafayette Square — across from the White House — at 11 am on Saturday, June 30. Sister marches are expected in more than 700 cities and towns across the country.
“The ‘zero tolerance’ policy is Trump’s zero-tolerance policy, and he has the ability to get rid of that policy at any time,” said Jess Morales Rocketto, the policy director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, one of the dozens of groups that are organizing the protest. “So we’re not going to stop organizing until the end of zero-tolerance policy. That’s ultimately what created this crisis, and our demand has been so clear from the very beginning that that’s what needs to happen.”

Previous administrations created the crisis. Trump got stuck with the mess. The media perpetuates the lie, and the sheep blame Trump.
You really cannot fight "stupid", when "stupid" owns the press...

Trump could nominate Sidd Finch for SCOTUS, and progressives would complain solely on the basis, that he was a Trump nominee.
(No insult intended, Mr. Finch...)

But people are suffering across the world and its your duty to comfort them.
Even though the border being open is how the cartels screwed their homes up so bad out there.

What crisis? Illegal immigration from the southern border is down. The only crisis that these people are protesting is the new, so called, "no tolerance" policy that Trump imposed.
Seeking asylum is not illegal, period. Families seeking asylum in the past were processed, given a court date and released. If their case was rejected, then they were processed for deportation together, as a family. Don't forget, Obama deported so many individuals, and families, that he was called the "Deporter in Chief".
Charging asylum seekers with a crime, before knowing if a crime was actually committed, thereby separating families, is this administration's scheme to deter asylum seekers. You know, the ones who sit on the side of the road waiting for border control so they can turn themselves in.
What's worse, this administration never put a procedure in place to track these kids to their parents, so they could be re-united. They didn't think that far ahead! That's the unconscionable actions that these people are protesting.
