Here is what the libs don't like.

When their party members (or prospective party members) violate the law (when their children are with them), the adults go to jail.

The children have always been taken to state facilities, where the court will determine what to do with them.

In this case, the dem-socialists are objecting because it's affecting their voter base. Where were their objections during the eight years of obama?
crickets...

But the separations under Obama never lasted more than 20 days. That was, and still is, the LAW. Unless this liberal judge in Californa changes that 20 day limitation, we'll see these families released into the U.S. population, or housed on military bases.

The libs are so pea-brained. They should realize that building a long/high/deep WALL will end this "crisis" they're whining about. Maybe it's like the DACA issue.. They don't want suffering to end. That's what their ACTIONS indicate.

One thing I learned is that many of the REAL families who sneak across, are very poor. They can't afford to stay somewhere in Mexico for 4 months, waiting for their hearing.

A Dominican Republic lady who was recently approved at the San Diego entry point, said that she rented some space in Tijuana, with others who were applying for US entry. It took 4 months for her to gain entry approval.

With some of the American Factories down there making parts for our cars and such and even building cars, we are actually making it better for many Mexican people. They aren't getting rich, but they can actually support their families.

I think that we should streamline immigration but vett the people well before letting them come in. Maybe having a flop house with rooms in Mexico close to the boarder would be a good idea, just supply them with the ability to fend for themselves, don't give them room service.

The answer is not to let anyone come into this country just because they come to the border and cross into the USA, No country allows that, that is stupid.

When the dems went crazy and showed their appreciation and admiration towards MS-13, I thought it was a one-time thing.

But now they want to eliminate ICE and open the borders, so maybe they really do admire MS-13.

I'm not "lib" (though I may be left of center). You know that Trump's "wall" has been steadily modified, right? First it was across the whole border. Remember? (no that won't work, that's not what he really meant, that was just a figure of speech). A big beautiful wall (now it's "see through"). And let's not forget that Mexico is going to pay for it. Remember? (that whole notion sort of...faded).

A wall won't work for anything as other than a bandaid. A very expensive and pointless bandaid.

Berlin had a wall. With machine guns. And people crossed.

But people are suffering across the world and its your duty to comfort them.

Even though the border being open is how the cartels screwed their homes up so bad out there.

Then we stop the cartels from being able to get rich selling drugs here in America. Seems like it would be easier if we worked with other countries to crush the cartels.

That hasnt worked. Domestic War on Drugs hasnt worked. Over half the border wide open. Hmmmmmmmmm....

No, Meksika was doing well before, they had money and good lifes. But they are doing bad because your country even tried to kill their president and cause a social revolution like you have done in other countries and keeps messing them up in any possible way no matter how much they try to raise up, they have the resources and no matter what you take them down through politics and nasty meddling, look it up is just like that.

You all need to own up to what your government has done, they are doing bad because your own country decided they had to be doing worse so that you can do better, own it up and i am sorry but just look at every single country that deals with you as a "friend" and how they all end up in this same situation, just stop

I can see it all from outside, so yes i don't have a bias, all of our countries in the big game are mostly the same but i wish you americans at least would be honest and accept the blame of what you have done so far

And yet you pretend it didn't happen, what do you learn on your schools? are you lied by your teachers? At least i know we are not angels and about all the things in the past and i'm ashamed of that and try to change it but you seem to be not aware or completely shameless on those things

Between 83% and 90% of illegal immigrants don't show up for their immigration court appearance.

Trump created the crisis and Trump can stop it.

Care to learn a little US history before you embarrass yourself again ?
Seems like you may be unfamiliar with the US
Start in 1997.
Unless you live in some alternate reality , Trump was not President then . Just in case you hadnt realized that yet
Now , move up to 2008 and the Obama admin
Then , and only then , will you be qualified to point the finger of blame at anyone.

What does that have to do with separating families?

Ninety percent of the mostly-teen illegal immigrants flooding over the Mexico-U.S. border won't show up for their immigration court hearing, meaning at least 135,000 of the youths will simply vanish into the country this year alone, according to a key House committee chairman.

So, we just let everybody cross?
Or do you have a better idea?
I'm sure you have a great idea to let everybody in.
Right?
If not, how would you do it?
If you were living in a border town instead of Hawaii...

Are this nutters for keeping muderees, drug dealers and other criminals together as a family as well? I am curious how this is supposed to work. Maybe we need to start building prisons with family suites.

What is their solution? Send people back without due process? I am okay with that if they waive their rights. Point them back to whence they came.

Apparently, they want them to be released into society. Some will come back for their court hearing, but most will not. Especially the teens who cross the border illegally. They are the worst offenders of not complying with court dates.

Start by doing something about the law, which obviously doesn't work.

If you you were living in a border town instead of Hawaii.
Heh. You think there aren't any illegal residents here?

I think the best method is to severely reduce DEMAND, using some medical technique. But that's for another thread.

Previous administrations created the crisis.

What crisis? Illegal immigration from the southern border is down. The only crisis that these people are protesting is the new, so called, "no tolerance" policy that Trump imposed.

Seeking asylum is not illegal, period. Families seeking asylum in the past were processed, given a court date and released. If their case was rejected, then they were processed for deportation together, as a family. Don't forget, Obama deported so many individuals, and families, that he was called the "Deporter in Chief".

Charging asylum seekers with a crime, before knowing if a crime was actually committed, thereby separating families, is this administration's scheme to deter asylum seekers. You know, the ones who sit on the side of the road waiting for border control so they can turn themselves in.

What's worse, this administration never put a procedure in place to track these kids to their parents, so they could be re-united. They didn't think that far ahead! That's the unconscionable actions that these people are protesting.

True asylum seekers process the border legally. They ask for asylum, they don't enter illegally.

The Democrats are outraged because they see illegals as votes. Nothing more.

"Votes" are worth more to Democrat politicians than the safety of Americans? Apparently these protestors didn't get the memo. It's likely that some of them, or their relatives, will be harmed in some way by an illegal alien at some point. Short-sightedness on steroids.

They can't cross the border.

One of the Senators said that over the past 2 years, most of the illegal immigrants originate from Guatemala. There must be something terrible going on there right now.

Oh so easy, you could stop this and stop living of other people's suffering

So easy but nothing seems to please you, right?

Maybe they would not be coming knocking on your door asking for retribution then
