Not according to the report that you linked to in your OP. In fact that linked report stated that the poor were doing worse under Obama, and that no data has been released for Trump. You can say pig all you want, but unless you can prove that the economy (and thus the unemployment rate had dropped, which means jobs for all) is doing badly, then you don't have an argument.

Poverty is a mindset for the weak. The poor people of America wear Jordan’s, have a PlayStation, big screen TVs , new iPhones and plenty of pills to keep em down. Lots of great people were poor but through hard work and determination rose above and beyond. So it is possible. Lazy folks are poor. It’s America, opportunity is there if you really really try

I think the college/university system needs to be re-vamped. They need to start offering under grad degrees in,"Do you want fries with that", masters degrees in, 'Order number 1025', and for those who really want to get ahead in life a phd in, "Hi and welcome to Walmart"
