This MGTOW campaign seems...(warning: not PC) kind of gay! Really get to know your partners...don't rush into marriage.

Is 7 years long enough?

I think Annee is referring to this:

About 60% of single mothers in the US live in poverty. Only 29% of single mothers ever received child support, and the average per month received by these mothers was $432.

Single parents worldwide: Statistics and trends

Then those fathers either fled from the U.S. or are in jail.

432 dollars a month is ridiculous, i get about 1200 a month and i don't event talk to the old man. I think in America there is a problem with affection and family importance being low on priority, may be wrong but that's how i see it

Just take a look at the herbivore men in Japan.

Not the same as MGTOW, but men are opting out in a lot of places.

That's an assumption. What percent of single parents never file for child support in the first place?

ETA: Here's a link that claims that out of the 13.4 million single parents in the US in 2016, only 48.7% had any form of legal or informal child support agreement in place. (HERE)

I didn't expect you to post personal information. I asked what sorts of evidence you had to back up your claim. You gave examples of things you did, but you never proved that those things actually made you a good father. Most of them sounded pretty average to me, and good implies above average.

Maybe you're right that your wife was a bad mother. Maybe you were bad and she was worse? That would still fit the narrative that you were a better parent than her.

I'm far from assuming the worst too, I just think it's a typical case where people over inflate their own contribution and minimize others, which is very common. As someone who habitually does the exact opposite, to the point that I'm convinced I'm horrible at everything I do, and that others cover for me, I like to challenge the established notion because it's so different to how I percieve the world.

Passive - aggressive, much.

Pretty sure the courts already fine you a lot if your abusive to a child. The courts can fine them more for all I care. If you wanna split up your family or need to split up your family then maybe you shouldn’t have had kids in the first place. And you should be fined for breaking up your child’s family. Be an adult, figure it out, or pay up big. I think the divorce culture is hurting society and there should be consequences.

True robots are also in the future. And people have to remember they won't always be steel and rubber, etc. 3d bioprinting will eventually allow for fully biological bodies, the brain can be replaced by a blood powered low power computer or remote control wifi chip.

Well, we have to take into account that there are deaths, adoptions by single parents, and also one night stands with unknown people, all of which would result in a single parent without possible child support. Though, perhaps, there are many who separate and don't ask for child support.

You won't live to see that.

the brain can be replaced by a blood powered low power computer or remote control wifi chip

Who told you wifi would be the end of it at that time? And a low power computer to bring up a brain is not really real, brains are not "low powered" at all, in the end of it

Tell ya what -- when Paternity DNA testing becomes mandatory and child support becomes mandatory (without excuses) -- let me know.

Men may not always get a fair deal in court (although that is changing) -- but, it doesn't even come close to "sperm donors" skipping out.

So legally punish most single fathers for the mistakes of some?

That makes about as much sense as legally awarding custody to fathers +90% of the time because some post-postpartum mothers kill their own children.

I love how the post about being unable to get laid turned out to be an argument about parenting rights

I know, right?

Well, almost.

The OP isn't really about "incels" (people seeking, yet "unable to get laid"). It's about "mgtows" (those who are not seeking marriage/legal-commitment), yet somehow it's veered off into "mandatory DNA testing" and child support.

I suppose the connecting line is right there in the OP.

According to the columnist Martin Daubney, members of the MGTOW community believe that legal and romantic entanglements with women fail a cost–benefit analysis and risk–benefit analysis.

The current legal situation regarding parenting rights would definitely be a contributing factor if one was discussing the cost–benefit analysis and risk–benefit analysis that mgtows seem to base their decisions on.
