The idea that TTSA is stimulating ufo activity and interest is a good point. The problem is that there just is no real ufo experiences or content that
we can get a grasp on.
This experiences phenomenon has become redundant.
People see a ufo, a light or a saucer and report it and then an investigator questions them and they might do a little going over the spot if it’s a
landing experience sighting.
Then there are the more exotic abduction reporting’s…very real but elusive in any tangible understanding of what it is.
Or you have the new age types who say ufos are from Mars, or God, or gods, angels, devils, IDH spookery which all are on the level of religious
speculations and little scientific proof: Linda Howe, Michael Salla, Dave Wilcock and Steven Greer types and many others including the ufo cults,
that have become dangerous at times.
Then in between that you have the Richard Dolan, Jenny Randles, Mufon, more sober type ufologists. At least more sober than the above.
Then the scientific types like Vallee, Hynek, and Bigelow type.
Often, they intersect. Like Timothy Goode has gotten into the spiritual ufo syndrome, though his books are of the sober variety most of the time.
All of them have failed to really get any tangible evidence or added to any real progress in ufology.
WHY
Because whatever is behind this mysterious phenomenon is very adept at hiding.
Grant Cameron does make a good point out of listening to the “experiencers” but that doesn’t really advance ufology too much since it all
depends on belief.
Jacques Vallee has and does play the role of the serious researcher frustrated by any real lack of a serious unified scientific research methodology
that may actually find tangible results in understanding this mysterious phenomenon.
But he has been foiled at every turn and only served to be a part-time researcher going around interviewing experiencers.
And his problems also may be that he ran around with noted disinformation specialists while supposedly at the same time researching himself. SO IS HIS
ROLE JUST A ROLE OR IS IT LEGIT?
Indeed, the NIDS period in the Bigelow quest with all those serious and well-financed, relatively speaking, investigations, as far as I know,
haven’t gone too far. If they did discover something they're not telling.
Maybe Bigelow is hiding what he discovered.
It all lends to exemplify ufology as being maybe the most vital yet elusive science there is.
What does TTSA really have to add to the advancement of ufology?
Honestly, I see absolutely nothing.
