Pretty much. I used to think it would be all interesting fun to have aliens show up and give us answers to the mysteries of the universe and let us into the interstellar club. But I've had a dream or two in which the entire scenario was realistically played out, and gradually came to the conclusion that if such a thing happened it would literally be a horrifying end of the world as we know it, with only the most infinitesimal chance of us benefiting from it in any way. They wouldn't even have to DO anything. Just knowing they're there would destroy us.

Can you explain why you think this should be so destructive? We all pretty much know they must be out there somewhere already. Why would this destroy us, in your opinion?

Because of paranoia and the loss of faith in all of our institutions. We couldn't trust any of our churches or governments or schools to protect us and guide us anymore. We certainly couldn't trust the aliens, if they by chance had a way to communicate with us in our language. And if we never saw them, then your next door neighbor could be one, for all you know, or at least working with them to take over the Earth. There would also be people who be inspired to start tearing everything down with bombings and fires, stoking the chaos.

In one of my dreams, I got a look at them. They were literally terrifying 8-9 foot tall giant greasy cockroach/cicada creatures that communicated by a deafening squeal that shook to the bone. We had absolutely no common ground to deal with them, and they were stronger and smarter than us in every way. But they wouldn't even have to be so scary. Their mere existence would terrify.

And sure, maybe people are open to the idea of aliens in theory, but in reality? Ooh, don't bet on people being calm and rational, particularly in countries still lagging in technological advancement. Real aliens means that there really is a monster in the closet, and you don't know what it's going to do. That won't play out well.

Thought I'd put this in the right thread for you. I'm not sure Tyler's assessment is exactly what you think it is. Sounds like he's assuming the footage and electronic data are showing real objects. He hasn't "confirmed" anything in the sense you think he did it seems to me.

Sci-fi movies always make me chuckle, when highly advanced flying machines...all sleek and shiny...appear in the sky, bombard the planet and then monstrous or tentacled aliens, with a savagery beyond reason, emerge from within. In my mind, any technology advanced enough for interstellar travel and mass organisation would at least be conducted by creatures with a physiology that would allow them to manipulate their environment, an intellect to stay peaceful long enough to develop the technology and act accordingly when encountering another civilisation.

I believe it is in mankind's fevered imagination that any such encounter would be with the monsters from within our own paranoid psyche. I do realise that tech-development is often driven by weapons requirement...and pornography, to some extent.

The proof will surely be in the pudding.

That article was based on the recollections of the leadership of the relevant German company, Vision Unlimited, in 2017. From my contacts with them in 2017-2018, they had clearly forgotten much of what they said to me in 2007-2008 and the relevant events in those years.

Basically, in 2007-2008 they remembered uploading the video to their server for a friend - so the mystery portrayed in the article in 2017 was basically just due to memories fading in relation to something that, at the time, wasn't such a big deal.

The Palette of Narmer shows what appears to be a Brontasaurus being controlled by people. This fascinates me, because it goes to show that possible the pyramid bricks were actually moved by a giant beast, or dino.

Ra Nt-Ka, the “God Beast”

“They are described as tamed beasts of burden who “eat of the Niles grass”, whose tail when lashed “can kill an army of men” and “whose necks reach out to the sky”, which lets us believe the creature could depict a species of brontosaurus of some kind” he adds.

Long story short, I believe there's more to the story w/ dino's and humans.

Believed by some to depict dinosaurs?

I'm no expert on dinosaurs but they look like big cats with long necks, and an impossibility under our gravitational law.

It looks to be symbolic of maybe something like controlling the beast within to coil it upwards to experience some sort of communication with a higher consciousness..... I'd say that before dinosaurs.
