It wasn't.

You might strive to be more clear when replying to a post in a manner which, on the surface, seems to have no connection to your response.

For you I went into an explanation of my post. Hope you can keep up next time.

I saw your explanation. It still makes no sense as far as the post you were replying to.

Maybe you should have just posted it as a general statement rather than a reply.

Yes, it was a statement more than a reply. I agree with you.

The American media machine is far above others in it's skill to persuade or propagandize. I thought that might be clear to you in my post. Or are ideas and statements something weird to you here?

Ironically, you are the one with a painfully clear agenda. No critical thinking or analysis necessary.

ETA: You keep repeating the same statements without ever specifying a concrete example or counter-example. Do you have objective statistics to back up your claim that "the American media machine is far above others in it's skill to persuade or propagandize?" How does it compare with PressTV or RossiyaOdyin? Numbers, please.

I'll start simply for you. America is #1 in entertainment. Our media has the edge in producing content that wins over people's mindshare. Propaganda is built into entertainment content in many ways.

So is this the Russian version of CNN?It all makes sense now.

Repeating a claim without evidence or facts does not make it true. You are simply repeating an assertion with no facts or logic behind it in order to persuade people to believe your position. There is a word for this. What is it?

No; CNN does not attempt to influence Russian citizens by pretending to be a patriotic Russian network.

You're correct for once. CNN is an unpatriotic tool of deep state globalist propaganda weaponized & aimed at its own citizens while pretending to be a patriotic news outlet.

Aren't most of them? But looking to Russia for "fair-ski and balanced-ovich' is a bad call.

I agree, Johnny, that all media information should be treated as suspect and vetted.

When, where, and how? Provide concrete examples and data. (Or are you simply trolling in your spare time?)

WRONG! You must not be overseas. CNN's global network is included with many overseas networks and in airports. CNN claims to be some unbiased global source of news. That qualifies for pretending to be accurate news to the native regions of the world. WAKE UP for heavens sake!!

Thank you for once again admitting that you are not in North America. Unlike state run media, CNN broadcasts exclusively in American English. There can be no mistaking that they are presenting anything but an American perspective on events. Viewers who watch on cable or satellite are not deceived into thinking the coverage is "native." Compare this with USA Really with its English language and American flag motif.*

I am not the one who needs to wake up. You have once again dodged my challenge to prove the ridiculous, hyperbolic claims you make about American media. The narrowness of your replies and continual attempts to shift the direction of the discussion suggest that you are posting under constraint. If you cannot engage in genuine dialogue, perhaps you should not waste the effort of posting at all.

*ETA: The logo in the OP is green and centered on an outline of the continental United States, not exactly the red, white, and blue, but their call for American "journalists" makes it clear that it will probably wrap itself in the flag eventually. (I will assume that it is a coincidence that you repeat their WAKE UP motto.)

ETA: CNN does indeed offer foreign language editions, but I stand by my claim that they make no effort to disguise their American corporate sponsorship.

Of course not!

They do that with the American citizens.
