No, i don't think that they are laughing. English people have a long reputation of being polite and having good manners. In a place like a coffee shop that doesn't sell coffee, it is a key element. Yeah and before you say something like "look at my behavior here!" well you want to make us feel good and laugh and you are very good at it. But i bet that if you wanted and tried, you could serve a cup of tea to the Queen of England herself and succeed.

How's everyone doing today?

I'm in-betweeny. (I know NightStar likes that word)

We've had some more interest in our rental flat, but no definite takers (that we like) yet.
No buyer for the Bongo car/van I'm selling either. I have no idea why! It's a beaut! (and cheap).

We had to bury my Uncle Bert yesterday. (He was furious, we should really have waited until he'd passed away...)
That was a wee nod to his wicked sense of humour! He was 91 years young and always laughing or playing practical jokes etc.
He was my mum's brother. There's only one (out of a family of 14) left now. (Apart from one who was "disowned" that no one seems to talk about???? skeletons!!!! oooooh!). Quite sad really.
I raised a wee dram to him last night.

It's a holiday weekend here this weekend and we'll be heading off down to mysterious island to meet up with some friends for some music, nonsense and shenanigans! I think I need some of that just now.

Sorry to hear about your Uncle! He lived a long life and a happy one I hope. I only have one Aunt left after all my other Aunts and Uncles died. Hugs!
