As I know my ankle will be worse for a while after surgery I forced myself to finish cleaning up in my bedroom to avoid any incidents once I'm home from surgery.

Sitting at on a desk chair while sweeping the floor can be a challenge.

Have an extra beer for me.

As long as you don't think I was ridiculing you. Laughing and crying often look the same on film. I will be wearing well-fitting lycra when we play Twister. Just saying....

Until that time, I can stand, I can't walk a single step. Arm wrestle?

Oh dear. Well, it is for the best, but it still makes me nervous with your condition.
Now Auntie WISter is also concerned about,( you won't like this), if you have made "arrangements" in case there is a "worst case scenario" . Will we be "notified"? I am aware this won't be elected "favorite comment of the day" but it is relevant.
See I would rather have a "Virtual Real Life " notification, than you haunting us the rest of our lives, frantically creating encrypted like posts that not even ATS can delete. "We" the filthy few will get used to it, but new comers may be confused.
"Why do I constantly see posts that make no sense and why aren't the deleted"
"Relax It is just Blue, he is stuck somewhere in the ether" Not the solvent.

Here is a big hug.

You are the one crushed under the others to the bottom left.

We are all with you. I am not sure if that is comforting or scary.

You could perfect this, creating a new vehicle. Propelling yourself with a broom. They would be forced to make separate lanes for "The Sweeping Chair". You can maneuver, almost, like a humming bird. You could market it as "How to reduce your carbon footprint and still be a couch potato" You would win the Nobel something prize, for saving the planet in one sweep.

Have an extra beer for me.

Thank you, I already had an extra glass of wine, if you don't mind.

Wouldn't something more "substantial" be more fitting, so as not to distract the viewers from the actual contest? It would be like watching figure skating or baseball.

There are creatures called Dufflepuds, they are one legged beings, very well documented by C. S. Lewis, that seem to lead perfectly wonderful lives.
Here is a rather poor resemblance of a Dufflepud with Master Reepicheep.

Originals are hard to come by.

Came through chuckling and sprinkling stars. LOL

Saw the Christopher Robin movie and loved it! I am exhausted and have some pain today so I am taking off for a movie and a nap. Yes nap as I know I will never sleep through the night if I go to bed now. I shall return.

No ridiculing intentions received here my friend. We will have to start out with thumb wrestling before I'm up for any serious activities.

Take care and be yourself as alway.

First we have Gordi's refrigerated bra and now your sweeping chair. I see a gold mine in new products as seen on TV here.

Good idea Wis. I'll have to look into it.

I say put on your refrigerated underwear and Duct Tape your chair to one of those little robot vacuum cleaners!
The room would get swept and you would have a random mini-adventure-tour of the accommodation space to boot.

***This would work best if it was programmed to go past the drinks trolley or beer fridge every 15mins or so.....***

PS - Video or it didn't happen.

It had been a long and difficult journey for Gordi & Pudge, following the Armagor tracks for days on end through the dark, dense woodlands. But now, at long last - the trees started thinning out to reveal a much more pleasant view up ahead.
There was an open wild-flower meadow with a scattering of crab-apple trees off to the right and a mixture of Willow & Ash trees dotted along a rise towards the top of a hill at the far side. A couple of songbirds were “duelling” in the sky against the sounds of a small babbling brook somewhere down to the left. The old cart track that they had been following took a straight route across the meadow (for once!) and disappeared up through the line of trees towards the darker hillside beyond.
Pudge smiled as a small cluster of “dandelion faeries” flitted by on the wings of the soft breeze, almost appearing to play Tag with one another!

The travelling companions were just about to head across the meadow when something caught Gordi’s eye further up the dark hillside beyond... He swiftly indicated for Pudge to stop, and they both instinctively lowered themselves into a crouched position in the long grass, staring intently towards the source of concern.

There! And once again - There!
A subtle hint of movement and the glint of shiny metal against the shadows beyond...

"Armagors?"

At long last, they were nearing the Ash Mountain...

YO!

went downtown today. chinese/thai buffet all you can eat. After i had about 4 or 5 plates i understood that beer is not an option today due to shortage of space in the stomach. I bought one litre of "jaloviina" roughly translated as "noble booze" it is one part cognag and three parts regular booze. After that i understood better invite some friends to come over. I have food and tobacco also to give them if they need.

My best friend just called that he will come in 15 minutes. Cool
he is rational. I am all about emotions and intuitions. When i freaked out about mandela effect last winter, he told me that if the changes are in some pop lyrics or movie scenes, the ones making the changes must be really, really bored. I was like: valid point!

Sweet as in really cool or hip or down or what ever is the appropriate exclamation for bringing these guys to my attention. I liked the mix of generations among other things.

Have a great day with your friends and an extra Jaloviina for me.

Continued from reply above

From the portal, they appeared in the dense forested area, leaves blowing gently in the wind, animals scurrying away as fast as they could, birds taking to flight to escape...something. They walked ahead, pleased that there was a thinning of trees and that Gordi and Pudge were there. It was then that she sensed the dark creatures in the distance as did Marcon. She told Pesky to be on alert and that danger lay ahead. The warrior Elf also sent a telepathic message to Gordi to not be alarmed and that she was right behind him.

Though she had battled long and hard against the evil that invaded the Shed lands and Kingdoms, she had never sensed such an intense and frightening darkness such as this. Not like this! The fear was palpable. Why didn't she sense Marcon's fear? For even the bravest of Elves surely would.

Taking a deep breath and holding her sword firmly, she placed her hand on Gordi's broad shoulders and whispered. "We are close to the heart of their fortress which they guard well. They will not be easily defeated as they are the strongest of the armagors, their leader's prized fighters. If we could make it to the mountain, the cave below, perhaps we can save our friends before the real war begins."

The skies darkened and a thick fog appeared, but that would not deter their mission, of that she would make sure. With her companions by her side, they would succeed or die trying.
