They are the future voters. You obviously have not been listening. These kids are smart and articulate and they have a strong message. It's their own voices and their own experiences. They have stared down the barrel of a rifle meant to take their lives away while taking a calculus test. Jesus give them some credit.
If you can point at anything I said that would give you that impression, I will self impose a one-week suspension on myself. Otherwise you’re just making # up.

Them old age pensioners remember when they didn't have to ask the states permission to buy a firearm.
Since it was created under the CLinton administration.
How did people ever survive until the FASCISTS came along telling them they should be disarmed?

"The more things change, the more they stay the same." Hiding behind the advance of technology is lazy. We are still human.
The issue here was the parroting of these young people and how do you respond? With an old hackneyed cliche. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Who said that and what does it mean. It's a pile of crap if you ask me. Does it mean that the more things (seem) to change when in reality they really never do? Bosh. It simply is not true. The more and faster things change, the more we become seperated, the more our generation s become alienated from one another.
If you would like to convince me you are right you will have do do better than quoting an old and tired cliche. And what do you mean when you say hiding behind the advance of technology is lazy? Who's hiding here. Because you see that nothing changes as your cliche suggests, I can understand that you might think that advancing technology is a feeble concept upon which to consider the ''apparent' changes in society. But that is simply not true either.
People are not just people. People are products of environmental processes. We change and morph depending upon our societies and cultures.

Try something new?
How about reading existing laws?
National Firearms Act of 1934.
Gun Control Act of 1968.
Fire Owners Protection Act of 1986.
Gun Free school Zones Act of 1990.
Brady Handgun Prevention Act of 1993.
It's pretty effing clear those that are calling for more gun control hasn't even bothered to read existing law.

These young people need to recognize that our 2A is not the cause. Guard your 2A like treasure.
Americans once had the right to own slaves.
Then common sense prevailed and that right was taken away. The same will eventually happen with the right to own arms.
It may take awhile, but it will happen.
There will be bloodshed before that happens
Who ya gonna shoot? How will you identify the enemy?
Anyone that tries to disarm me and my fellow citizens or commit acts of tyranny.
I will defend the constitution/bill of rights against all enemies foreign or domestic.
To the last bullet, to the last man.
Pretty sure his/her plan is complete Socialism/Communism.

The fem thread? Here we go, back to the 1950's...I don't think I need to say anymore.
At least in the "Wild West" those who shown by their behavior to be a threat to society and committed crimes against fellow humans, they were tried and if found guilty of murder were hung by their neck until dead???
