I've been watching. I'm very impressed with what those young adults have been able to accomp!ish.
Perhaps this time will be different. No one is asking to outlaw guns. They/ we just want sensible gun regulations. No one needs an assault rifle unless you're a solider.

Some of you seem not to care what they been through because of these guns and assault weapons. Selfish?

I am against gun violence, just not against our right to own a gun. Some people should not own guns because they are mentally unstable, others use them to intimidate and control us and to aid in stealing what we have worked for. Those criminals and mentally unstable people should not possess guns.

This is not a nice world, I wish it was but the fact is that there are just as many deceivers in it as there are good people. Many of the people are deceived by others to believe in something that is not true. In this country, it is good to own a gun for protection. I am not interested in overthrowing our government but know that there are people in this country that want complete control over us and they cannot do it if we have guns. I do not like those kind of people who shove their beliefs down our throats, they feel their beliefs and wants are more important than ours. The elite and priviledged will always have access to guns even if they take them away from the common people. They will get the police protection, we will have to throw rocks at the people breaking into our homes and robbing us on the street.

The thread was for sending positive energy.

Protests are cool. meet new people, afterwards party a little, possibly get laid, choose a new hair style (dreads) party some more.... and .....

Its great that they are participating...

what's not great is some of the outright lies they are parroting that come straight from the CNN/MSNBC talking points. (and yes the ones Fox found to parrot their talking points is also a sore spot for me)

Now we just need to teach them to do their own research and formulate their own opinions based on facts.
