Clever, but I am not amused...in the least.

Nor was this intended to be an amusing topic for you warranting clever remarks.

Yeah but it's not the news he wants to see.

With the way people tailor their news to fit their biases, it sure as hell could be.

Less time complaining, more time reading.

Bottom line; look how quickly the media dropped that whole narrative like a hot rock to eagerly salivate over blood-lust somewhere else...anywhere else! Anything to change the focal point of the spotlight!

I know man, it's crazy how quick the media jumped to focus on breaking news and then continued to focus on that breaking news because it continued to develop and put out updates for two whole days.

Good Christ you people know no bounds when it comes to your reaching.

The choreographed rollout of talking points for the left sure seems to be in lock step and seems pre-planned. Not necessarily for this specific event, but it seems that all the news anchors on all the programs have the same talking points, did a HECK of a lot of indepth research and aired it hours after the incident. Now maybe someone was tasked with prepping for "the next one" but when they act as they do it sure doesn't seem like organic reporting considering the media stations are supposed to be different.

So what was the big story thrown on the back burner last October? I seem to recall the timing then was also kind of convenient as well as about 5 previous major incidents, they all happened when one side was building up steam and then, bam, reporting on whatever the "hot topic" is gets pushed from the headlines and the major story gets burred, under reported and neglected.

There needs to be a list made of the current headlines and major stories within a week of each major incident and see what the correlation is. I seem to recall something about the FBI in the hot seat back in October (Comey issue) and then the relationship with the FBI and the shooter, and in this case, well, there was knowledge again by the FBI. Sure seems to be a pattern from here.

I wonder if this incident will receive more coverage and for longer than the Las Vegas incident??? If it does then I think that would confirm what a lot of people already suspect and that being that something is not as being told in regard to that particular incident.

What about the kids gunned down in places like Chicago every day only the news don't report like they did for Florida?

Because it doesn't fit their narrative?

Honestly I think Syria is being ignored quite a bit.

Luckily the US and Turkey have "normalized" ties... Until the Kurds kill more Turks.

Israel hit Iranian targets.

And the US killed an unknown amount of Russian mercenaries.

Things are heating up quick over there in just a week.

My opinion: To hell with the mindless government s**t on the news. Screw all that.

Kids are dying. No, scratch that. Kids are being murdered in one of the safest places they should know. If this doesn't take some kind of precedence over what's been re-hashed over and over then you need to step back and reevaluate yourself a little.

I hope it's in the headlines everyday. EVERY DAY. This s**t has got to stop. (yes, neo, that includes all the other ones we don't hear about regularly)

Kids are our most important treasure and to discount this in anyway is just cold hearted. There's a solution out there, we just need to put aside our politics and address it as caring human beings. This should not be an issue that is left for the next generation to figure out. Because, I promise, they already are figuring it out. Let's do the heavy work for them and let them grow up worrying about how to fix our other screw ups.

The most ardent supporters of the 2nd amendment (of which a disproportionate amount of the most extreme seem to flock to these kind of posts on ATS) would gladly give up any number of children's' lives (even their own) in exchange for the right to bear arms. It is so far beyond sacrosanct to them that there is literally no bodycount high enough to sway their opinion on the matter.

So it wasn’t 17 kids that were killed, it was 17 people in total that’s from adults to teens, don’t embellish a tragedy just because you want to make someone look foolish in a thread. Sorry to nitpicking, it’s still a tragedy in and of itself.

However I am interested to see how the long media does stay with this story, look at how fast they stopped talking about Vegas...

Semantics the point still stands.

17 people die and the right want to ask were Hilary is.

Paint it however you want, argue semantics all you want, the fact remains, its a bit daft of the OP to be asking this question.

Trust me I totally understand where you are coming from and I made and edit to my previous post apologizing for nitpicking, but if you are going to make an argument or have discussion at least ou the real stats and don’t just lump everyone into one catergory because then you are doing no one any justice, you know what I mean.

I agree with both sides here though, this Tory should be covered intently until all the facts are presented for the general public, but the OP is also correct in saying that there is other very important news that need to also be reported and I’m not talking about the president banging a playmate however many years ago.
